Loved our stay here! Was a little nervous since it's such a new listing but since they had another listing with great reviews we decided to give it a try and so glad we did! The place was beautiful and wonderfully decorated with everything we needed for a nice stay. Really peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. We took advantage of the proximity to Bethel Woods and enjoyed a show on the first night. Super easy to go to the venue and would highly recommend staying here if catching a show there! This place is also close to some really cute towns and we enjoyed the recommendations provided by our host. We had such a great long weekend here and our 5 year old loved having adventures in the backyard. We hope to be back soon!

The Ensconce: Modern cabin in the woods

Even though we had some bad luck with the weather, we still had a wonderful stay. This is such a beautiful home tucked away in the middle of the woods. It's peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. I especially loved the large windows that brought the outdoors in, even when we were stuck inside. The bed in the primary bedroom was incredibly comfortable, which made for restful nights. We’d love to come back, hopefully with better weather next time! Some favorite spots nearby include: Upward Brewery - Great beer/cider and soft pretzel with massive outdoor space. Catskills Coffee Lodge - Loved the iced latte, brie + jam on english muffin and chocolate chip cookie. I could've sat on the rocks by the creek forever. Taylor & Ace - Nicely curated vintage store. Tavern on Main - Delicious mac and cheese and harvest salad Main Street Farm Market Cafe - I liked the iced strawberry matcha and pear cider donut. It was too cold/rainy to enjoy the deck out back.

We rented the house to celebrate my birthday, its was peaceful, calm and just relaxing. The house itself has charm of an old farm house. Very bright, with great details of a old house that was billed in 1912. The little mystery there, who is the man on the big portrait. ;)) Comfortable furnishings, all to our liking. The host is incredible. Flexible check in hours, host responded with minutes, everything was ready and working. Its was incredible stay! Will recommend this to our friends and family!!! Thank you so much!!

The beautiful scenery and living accommodations were emasculate. Yanna was very responsive and receptive to our requests and messages. Overall a great place to stay. View of the willowemoc was incredible. Truly beautiful. Heating system was pretty loud. Could easily hear it inside. WiFi was pretty much non-existent Those were my only complaints. Place itself very nice and tastefully done.
