Would highly recommend this place as ‘home’ for exploring this area. Worked perfectly for my son, my dog, and me to have a fun-filled long weekend. The host gave great instructions, the place was very cute and clean, it had great views of the area for sitting outside and enjoying a meal or sunset, and the hosts graciously stocked some snacks and waters and coffee to help us get started. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for and the hosts were so sweet and accommodating. The cabin is located close to fossil and was a perfect jumping off point for all the activities we wanted to do (painted hills, sheep rock unit, etc). There's and Bobbi were very responsive and gave us great local tips about where to go fishing and for various things we were wanting to do. we would definitely come back!

Space was clean, cozy, and charming. Kitchen had everything you could need and the bedding was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here to visit the painted hills, just around the corner.

We just stayed at Jennifer's Tim-Buck II and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our daughter's birthday (Jennifer even put out flowers and a special candle to help us celebrate!) and to visit the beautiful Painted Hills area. Jennifer was incredibly responsive, the location was beautiful, had every amenity anyone could hope to find, our only regret was that we weren't able to stay longer! Would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting the John Day / Painted Hills area of Oregon, you'll love it!

This was my second time at Erin's house and it was as great as the first time. The house has everything you need and lots of room. The yard is nice and well kept. We really liked the small town atmosphere of Mitchell and the area is beautiful and peaceful. All the information provided by Erin makes planning your trip really easy. I really recommend a trip to the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument and staying in Mitchell makes it easy to see all three of the units. Erin's house is a great place to stay!

Everything was a very pleasant experience, we traveled a lot and needed a place to stay and this place was perfect, cozy, clean, and convenient. The interior was clean and comfortable. They had pamphlets for food that was within walking distance, the food was delicious. All in all a very wonderful and relaxing experience. Eliud Quintero

One of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen! The house is newly renovated and very comfortable. The kitchen was updated and great for cooking. The only downside was that there is no wifi and no central AC. The bedrooms got pretty hot at night so we ended up sleeping in the living room where the window unit was located.

Very well built, and organized (mise en place) tiny home. 10/10 stay. Stocked with all the amenities and toiletries needed. Great location, cool neighbors and right by the grocer.
