Raven's Cottage-A two story Gem for Two!

CorneliusRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Cynthia’s place is beautiful. It’s an easy walk (or 3 minute drive) to downtown, and the upstairs deck has a view of the port and town. We were very comfortable and only wish we could have stayed longer. Cynthia is a great host, too - eager to share the best of Stonington and easy to communicate with. Be sure to get some lobsters right off the boat at Greenhead lobster co (a short walk away) and ask Cynthia where to stream them (outside)

Harbor Haven

The pictures just do not do Todd’s place justice! Stunning, private location with a distant view of Acadia, absolutely wonderful and unique layout with multiple decks and views out of every window, had everything we could have possibly wanted for our family vacation with our two dogs and kids. Popcorn maker and waffle maker with supplies provided at the house to make both were the cherries on top of a wonderful stay. If it’s available, book immediately.

Hot Tub Art Sail Loft. Swans Island

LarissaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The home itself was awesome and truly unique. Also very comfortable. There are trails to visit and you really can’t find a bad view. Everyone on the island was friendly. I will suggest you bring food over because there is a very small market with your basics but if you need anything specific you should bring it over. We also recommend making your return reservations at the time of your arrival for the ferry. We were almost stranded because certain Wednesday’s of the month are called “wacky Wednesday” due to being fewer ferries available and reservations being sold out the night before. Just be aware of that. Otherwise the island is gorgeous and Gregory’s home is truly special. We would definitely return.

An abandoned wooden structure rests on the ground, partially collapsed. Nearby, a silver metal planter filled with vibrant red and purple flowers adds a touch of color to the natural setting, surrounded by grassy patches and small plants.

Ledgewood Cottage

Such a cozy and peaceful getaway spot. All of our needs were met and we all slept amazingly - super comfortable bedding!! It was wonderful to wake up with the sunlight shining down on the trees. One note - the stairs are noisy so if there are people sleeping while you head down to use the restroom you might disturb their slumber!

Puppa’s View

Perfect! We loved our stay at Amy’s place - just like the photos and as described. Well appointed, maintained and comfortable. Easy walk into Stonington town or to the beautiful quiet Sand Beach. Easy access to lots of good nature preserves and lobster rolls all across the islands. The front yard is so peaceful - set up nicely with chairs & picnic table. Beautiful view to the harbor. On a main-ish street but very little traffic and the placement of shrubs & bushes give you plenty of privacy. We will come again!

The Boathouse at Spruce Harbor

Janette Is pronounced as YanetteRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.
A bright, open kitchen features turquoise cabinetry and a black countertop. A dual-basin sink is positioned beside a stove with four burners. Natural light fills the space, highlighting a cozy seating area with a comfortable chair and a small table in the adjacent living area.

Cozy Apt Overlooking the Harbor

LeahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Fantastic stay! My favorite part was by far the location! Great town, lots of gorgeous hikes nearby. The airbnb itself was also exactly what we were looking for. Cozy, comfortable and had everything we could need. The walls are a little thin so you can hear other people but we didn’t mind! Can’t wait to stay again.
