Small studio cabin nestled in the corner of our family property, located less than 100m from the beach in the lovely relaxed Ruakākā village. Our cabin provides a private get away for 2 guests and dogs are welcome too! The bathroom is outside - a private outdoor shower and toilet, a little bit different to the norm! The cabin features a big bed and a cute private courtyard to sit and enjoy the sun. Please note - there are no cooking facilities but there is coffee/tea, a toaster and bar fridge.

We stayed one night at Val’s place and absolutely loved it! The house faces a stunning beach view with easy access to the shore and the beach itself was simply amazing. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures on Airbnb, and the place was perfect for our group of 11, including two children. Val was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even allowing us an early check-in. He was always ready to help and made our stay so smooth. The house had all the facilities we needed, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Thanks again, Val!

Amazing views over the Bay Of Islands from the north facing sun filled deck. The apartment was super clean and comfortable in every space. Fresh fruit, warm bread, home made continental breakfast supplied daily was a nice treat to wake up to each day. We 100% recommended staying here and would certainly stay again. A charming beachfront property with an old homestead along with a modern studio/cottage. We stayed in the cottage. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Sue and James were excellent hosts with plenty of local knowledge and great suggestions for activities with our children. The kids fished in the stream and played on the swings. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, kiwi holiday experience!

We stayed at this beach front property as a family of 7 and had an amazing time! The place had all the amenities we needed, was super clean, and the mattresses were actually really comfortable. There was decent space for everyone to move around without feeling cramped, which was a huge plus. The location is absolutely perfect if you're coming to Waipu, close to everything but still peaceful. The kids loved it, and you can tell Mike really thought about all the little details that make a stay comfortable. We even got the option to check in early, which was really convenient. Highly recommend!
