Wow, absolutely stunning views! Mark’s place was very spacious and lots of natural light. We only stayed a night, but wished we could have stayed for the whole weekend! It’s a small stroll to the sea and a little shop that sells some delicious toasties.

Had a lovely stay here with all the comforts of home. Hosts were lovely, friendly and responsive. Highly recommend. Accessibility wise - although its up a flight stairs of stairs, the stairs are well spaced and with a handrail if thats something you look for when booking.

Had a great stay! My biggest concern was my dog: the property is fully fenced and I was able to relax knowing she was safe. It’s also a great place for humans: really clean and with everything you need. Easy walking distance to beach, cafes and restaurants - I do recommend staying here. Thank you Julie 😀

The house is everything you would wish for in a holiday -let. Tranquil surroundings, great view across the water from the living room, comprehensively equipped kitchen , and all the accessories you would expect in a comfortable home. You do run into what seems to be Auckland’s little publicised gridlock on the motorways ( at least where I come from) if you want to drive into the city centre or back , during the morning or evening rush hours respectively, but you should be able to work around that on a holiday. I would recommend the property without reservation.

Outdoor pool is very large and amazing space to relax. Beach is really close and the local restaurant is fabulous. Close to orewa if you really need stuff- but plenty to do on the beach and surrounds

Such a beautiful, serene spot. Absolutely perfect for our group of ladies. Plenty of space, stunning, modern and comfortable interior. Being able to sit out on the deck with the gorgeous view was incredible, as was the hot tub. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, it was just what we needed and 100% would return and recommend.

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. Jeremy’s place is a private, quiet hidden gem not far at all from bustling Auckland city. Suitable for a romantic getaway, the bathroom and spa are key factors in this… You must see it for yourself! The views of the rolling meadows during the day is great and even better at sunrise or sunset. Jeremy and Rae are fantastic hosts, very informative about the surrounding area and just super chill. Thank you so much J + R! You made my partner and I’s getaway that much more special.

Raes home was stunning and so peaceful - perfect spot to relax and unwind between wedding festivities. It had everything we needed, even local produce to enjoy. Rae was really friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Jo’s place. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Jo was an amazing host—super accommodating and always quick to communicate. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Auckland. Highly recommend!

Great place, and although the interior design had obviously been very artistically thought out and put together, we felt that it fell a little short on practicality. Worktops both in the kitchen and bathroom were stone tiles which, given time, would most likely give the hosts problems with cleaning. Bathroom door kept creeping open - needs a little hook or something similar. Bed was very comfy, and although the chairs were reasonably comfortable, would have preferred a sofa or couch - but it is clear in the listing that there wasn't one. Shower was great! We also went in the 'shoulder season' so unfortunately, the pool, whilst beautiful and immaculately clean, was far too cold for our old bones! But don't let me put you off - the hosts are very lovely people and their little dog is a darling! Nice place to stay, all in all.

We were surprised how peaceful the property was, considering we were in Auckland, coming from a rural home it was nice and relaxing, just sitting around enjoying what the property had to offer. Grant was exceptionally proactive and professional with his communication and we felt comfortable if we had any questions, queries or concerns we could rea h out without any bother. Overall great place to meet up with family and lived ones for a get away.

The home was absolutely perfect. The setting was beautiful and the house itself was clean and well kept (not to mention, the beautiful interior decor). The hosts were amazing in their communication, accomodating and exercised flexibility to specific requests of mine, which I hugely appreciated. I had all the information I needed upon checking in and felt very comfortable reaching out with any questions I had on my stay. I had a rather large group stay at the place so the cottage next to the main home was a winner, allowing for space and privacy amongst a big group. The spa pool and plunge pool was a treat with a stunning view and lots of grass area outside for the kids and pets to run around and play. I would highlight recommend this home to anyone looking for somewhere clean, beautiful location with ocean views and friendly and accomodating hosts. Thanks again Wayne and Lesley for opening up your beautiful home to us. Would love to stay again at some point.

My family stayed here for a few weeks and really loved it! It's clean, spacious, has everything you need, and feels like home. It's very easy to settle into and is close to the shops and supermarket. We highly recommend booking this home, it's an excellent choice for long stays as well.

The hosts of Songbird Cottage have gone to a lot of trouble to make this place special. So many lovely features, both inside the cottage and around the grounds. One of the best instructions manuals we have encountered, including lots of great recommendations for local walks, attractions and eateries. Top marks.

I stayed here for 3 weeks with my little dog during some house renovations and the place was perfect! It’s in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and super close to shops and the beach, perfect for waking the dog. The place is beautifully done and very cosy and warm. There are a few building projects right now in the street, but it did not disturb us at all. Steph was a great host. I can highly recommend this place for anyone needing accommodation in Auckland (especially Northshore!).

We had a gorgeous stay at the barn. My two sons and I had activities planned all weekend but ended up relaxing in the spa looking at the stars, walking around the lovely farm and playing board games in the barn instead of leaving, we would have loved to have stayed longer. We left feeling very peaceful. Chelsea was a wonderful host and we adored the animals we visited or visited us. Thanks so much for having us and we will definitely be back. 😊

Amy was an amazing responsive host who went above and beyond. Such a beautiful home with lovely touches like heated bathroom floors. Such a nice spot for our family for the weekend. We flew in so having things like toys available was amazing. Clean and stunning home, very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Jan’s. Everything was as described: clean, well-appointed, with lots of sunlight, located in Kohi—just a quick walk to the beach and close to cafes, restaurants, and shops for groceries nearby—truly a home away from home.
