Very nice home. Walk down the driveway and you are across from the lake. Full kitchen amenities. Plenty of blankets and towels. The den with the gas fireplace is a really nice cozy room. Beds are ok - could use mattress upgrades. But plenty of room bed /rooms for the 7 of us. Overall we had a very nice stay.

We stayed here on a snowmobile trip. House is right off the VAST system. Parker Pie is less than 1 mile away by sled and has good food and trail side gas. Place was exactly what we needed; private cabin that could sleep a group of guys after a long day riding.

The property is beautiful. It has its own private lake access. It is very beautiful and peaceful. Tom was a great host, he had a fire already going for us when we arrived. The house runs off a generator that is very easy to use. The views in the evenings and mornings are something out of a Bob Ross Painting. It is an amazing place and well worth a visit.

We loved this place! A group of us stayed here for a ski weekend at Jay Peak and it was just about 25 minutes away from the mountain. The house itself is in great condition, extremely clean, and had plenty of space for 5-6 people. Most importantly, the host, Kristin, was extremely responsive and welcoming! We didn't have any issues but knew we could reach out if we did.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Elmore Cottage; it met all of our expectations for a serene stay with beautiful lake views and spectacular foliage. The cottage was very comfortable and peaceful, with direct and easy access to the lake (for canoeing and swimming). The cottage is also directly adjacent to Elmore State Park, where there is nice hiking to the peak of Mount Elmore. Debra was super helpful with terrific recommendations for food and cocktails, and with any questions we had about the property and local activities. Would definitely recommend!

We were very happy with our stay at Tim's Nod Away home right on Lake Willoughby. Stunning views and sunsets from inside the home and even better sitting outside on the deck, around the fire pit or swinging on the hammock. Tim gave us a welcome call and shared info about local hikes and indicated his availability for any further questions or concerns. His place was spotless; great kitchen and everything you might need for meal prep. Comfortable bedding and cozy, homey living room.Kayaks were a bonus. It was tough to leave paradise.

this cottage was perfect for our getaway. from the sunrise coming up over the mountains and lake to kayaking the lake and just pure peace and serenity. the views were amazing and not too far away from stowe and the capital. I would come back and stay here again and again. suggest to have 4 wheel drive as dirt roads going to cottage but so worth it. the screened in porch was our favorite place to be. fall foliage beautiful. highly recomrecommend

The space is absolutely perfect for a getaway. Cozy, warm, relaxing, and the view of the pond is so calming. Beautifully decorated with a fully appointed kitchen. Sharon thought of everything you could need. The bedding is luxurious. When you walk in the door, you immediately begin to relax. Sharon and Roger are the best hosts! Very responsive and easy to communicate with. Lots of great ideas of things to do and places to go. We loved the cabin so much we didn't really want to go anywhere! This was a wonderful vacation cabin. The cabin feels light and airy, with a large great room/kitchen combination. The bedroom is in the loft, and it has a comfortable king size bed. I have mobility problems, so I stayed on the futon in the living room rather than trying to negotiate steps at night. The futon was okay — not particularly comfortable, but serviceable. Laurel and Dan were wonderful! They stopped by the cabin twice to make sure everything was okay, and they gave us excellent advice about local hiking areas, restaurants, etc. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced cabin in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, we highly recommend this little gem!
