Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Blue Ridge Highway, Smith Mountain Lake, James River, wineries, breweries, shopping are close by. 18 min to Roanoke College and 40 minutes to Virginia Tech. Rent a boat or jet ski nearby or enjoy one of the fun local restaurants. This lower level apartment has easy parking and is just steps from the water. The unit has a mini kitchen with refrig, microwave, and toaster oven. 600+ square feet. Wifi and tv. Free use of kayak or give the paddleboard a try. Life vests are available.

The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.
