Lake side house rentals in West Point Lake

IT WAS EVERYTHING. I truly can't think of anything more we could have wanted. Scott is friendly, accommodating and responsive. Upon arrival, Eagles Nest was warm, inviting, and welcoming. And that was just the foyer. Walking into the main area was amazing. The view is extraordinary. Sitting on the couch and looking out, you can easily imagine you're sitting at the front of a huge boat. And with the double doors open...just WOW! The beds were heavenly, the place was super clean and the kitchen was VERY well-stocked. Scott and Shanelle are so generous; they include firewood, kayaks, giant Jenga and Connect 4, cornhole and boardgames galore. Even a s'mores kit! Some highlights for us were sitting on the beautiful deck as a family one night to take in the sound of the rain against the deck's tin roof and kayaking to Goat Island. The day after returning home, we all just wanted to go back! Scott, we can't thank you enough. You set a VERY high bar! BEST. FAMILY. VACATION. EVER.

Fun, peaceful, relaxing, clean & modern home. We had 4 kids ages ranging from 6-19, and they all GREATLY enjoyed the lake house vacation. The home & property had everything and I mean EVERYTHING one could need. Great memories were made inside and outside the Green Herron. We fished, swam, s’mores by the fire place, grilled, played games we never played before… the fun was endless. The hosts truly put their heat and hard work into this place. BOOK IT!

Our stay at the Magnolia Meadow House in Callaway Gardens was relaxing, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. The villa has a rustic charm that feels true to the natural beauty of the area. The house itself is cozy but had plenty of room for my family. Multiple bedrooms and beds made it a great fit for traveling with children. It felt like a home away from home, with thoughtful furnishings, a clean and organized space, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you. I hope we are back soon.

Lovely and peaceful location. Mitchell and Shelley are great hosts and so accommodating. This is our second year staying here. We hope to make it a yearly tradition.

Quiet, serene, and very private. Sitting on the “beach” at night with a fire in the pit, listening to the songs of the frogs was our favorite part. If you go, make sure to stop at Smokehouse BBQ about 5 minutes away - amazing smoked ‘Q.

I will definitely stay here again very clean and Juanita made us feel right at home she was amazing. The surrounding has a beautiful view of the lake.

We stayed here with close friends for my 40th birthday. It was nothing short of perfection. I’ve been eyeballing it for a few years to host retreats and after seeing in person, I’ll definitely be back. It was beautifully decorated, the lot was amazing, and it was absolutely relaxing. We never even turned on a tv. Our friends all had lovely things to say too. It left quite an impression on us all. Also, the bedding/pillows were very comfortable, and shower toiletries were provided which was a bonus!

The fairytale cottage was truly a unique stay and perfect for our anniversary trip. Immaculately clean, everything as listed, but most importantly the building itself is literally a work of art. You can tell how much love the owners have for it and the land it’s on. One favorite part was the collection of artifacts outside that have been found on the land! We added some from our hikes 😊

The best place we’ve ever stayed. Barry’s place was magical. With all the birds we felt like we were in another world. The tree house was fantastic, clean, and so beautifully decorated. Barry was kind and informative on his “babies” that lived on the property. We will definitely be back!

Lisa was the sweetest host - and I just can't stop gushing about the Perch to my friends! I spent the weekend there for a surprise birthday retreat with my partner, and it was amazing. It's very private - secluded, quiet, and peaceful. You want to bring everything you'll need because getting to a store requires a good drive. But, we packed all our supplies, including firewood, and snuggled in for the weekend. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday (with a late check out - thank you!), but I could have stayed for a week. We cooked, sat on the deck and looked out at the water and listened to the birds for hours. We drank wine and played games, grilled steaks, sat outside by a fire, made smores and just enjoyed our time together. The Perch is so comfortable - all the amenities you need! The bed is soft, and we slept so well! We didn't do anything on the water, but it's a great workout to walk down to the dock and another peaceful place to sit and reflect. Thank you, Lisa! Lovely time!

The place is amazing. Looks just like the pictures. It’s definitely an unforgettable experience. The place is stunningly beautiful it feels like you’re on your own little private island. It’s very private the host Russell’s extremely welcoming like we’ve known him forever. We definitely recommend visiting here. You will never forget this experience.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was convenient to where we needed to be. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent!! The screened in porch was lovely and the entire stay was very peaceful.

My husband and I had the most wonderful weekend at Denise’s place. It was the most serene and wonderful place to come back to every evening after our adventures in town. The property was beautiful and so peaceful - we especially loved the ducks! The suite was super clean and tidy, and a beautiful space set apart from the main home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to be back someday!

The cottage is set in a beautiful property with amazing views of the pond. The cottage has everything you could need. The best is very comfortable and Sherry even left fresh flowers from her garden. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Pine Mountain! Close proximity to FDR State Park and downtown made it perfect for a weekend of activities. Even with the rain, there was plenty to keep us busy. There was a lot of wildlife too! We saw five deer moving through the backyard, and had a blast looking for salamanders and crayfish in the creek. We saw multiple box turtles as well. Kelly was responsive, communicative, and flexible with our arrival time. Overall, a great stay.

We had the best time at this home! It was peaceful and private, but easy to get to local restaurants and stores. Everything was very clean and they provided everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend to anyone needing a getaway!

This was our second stay here. Always have the best time and love the water surrounding the camper! The porch is perfect for our Charlie to run around outside and not have to be on a leash. It's a pretty big camper as well! Alan and his wife are so precious!

What a gem in Pine Mountain! The house is immaculate and surrounded by mature forest. We took a walk every evening to watch the sunset over the rolling pastures. Every detail what thought about in the house; beautiful furnished, every toiletry item you’d need, fully equipped kitchen, etc. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Really enjoyed our stay - the town is super walkable from the Airbnb, or you can drive. It's a nice, peaceful, private spot. Extending the bed was a little confusing at first but worked alright once we got it figured out.

We have stayed at Clovers Cabin severals times. It’s a beautiful location with more than enough room for two people. The front balcony is a nice hangout spot with a view of the fire pit and wooded area. Bed is super comfortable with nice quality bedding. The complimentary fresh eggs are a nice treat. Another nice amenity during the colder months is the indoor wood stove. Firewood is always available (and appreciated). We really love having the animals around (dogs, goats, chickens), as well as those in nature (birds, squirrels, etc) Our favorite highlight of this location is the walking trail, which has a small, seasonal waterfall and another fire pit and sitting area. We also love finding all the gnomes scattered throughout the property. This is our 1st review we have left, but our 4th time staying here, so that’s the best compliment we can give this place. Hosts have always been responsive and accommodating. Will definitely return again!

The lodge is awesome, hosted all the people I needed. Had everything you could need or want. While being in calmer country side, it’s close enough to the city for a night out. Overall it’s a great place to stay, well worth.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at Karyn’s lake house! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with thoughtful extras. We especially enjoyed the cornhole set and the extra floatation goodies down at the dock. There were plenty of fishing supplies available, and we picked up live bait just down the road at Pop’s Landing. Most of our time was spent enjoying the lake—swimming, floating, kayaking, and using the pedal boat. We also took a scenic drive to Cheaha State Park for a couple of short hikes. A few heavy storms rolled through during our visit, and one did knock out the power for a few hours, but Karyn communicated everything clearly and promptly, which we really appreciated. One helpful tip: make sure to secure anything left on the dock before heading in, just in case a storm rolls in unexpectedly. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back again!
