Debbie’s apartment at Kololi Sands came highly recommended by a friend after staying there herself. She knows how particular I am about cleanliness and staying at a place that has nice decor and feels like home. Debbie is an excellent host! She was super proactive in helping me look for another apartment for the last 3 day of my stay as hers wasn't available for the full length. She was responsive, polite and very thoughtful. She has thought of everything to make her place feel like a home. From the body creams in the bathrooms, the extra chargers in the drawers, the decor and the beautiful cushions in the bedroom and living room. Her place is absolutely gorgeous and gets cleaned every day - smells nice too. The balcony is beautifully decorated and you get a clear view of the ocean. Debbie and her apartment surpassed all my expectations! If you’re looking for a place to stay at Kololi Sands look no further. Book this place before it gets taken up. I won't stay anywhere else in Gambia.

Very tidy, lovely and modern AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Perfect location as it is walking distance to the beach front and close to the restaurants and bars at Senegambia. The apartment complex has good facilities such as a restaurant,pool and gym. Sade is a great host and is there when you need her very helpful and responsive I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to enjoy a stress free holiday. Great experience!

Quiet, fantastic staff, made us feel at home. Child friendly especially for our active 3 year old. Will be back soon!

Here you get value for yuor money, huge space, one of the best places in Gambia, and a wonderful host. I highly recommend this place

A wonderfully quiet place perfect for resting and planning excursions, nearby a wonderful public beach, nearby friendly locals and very helpful. The fashion I take care of the property is an incredibly kind and discreet person who you won't even notice the presence and will help you with the smallest thing. We felt very comfortable in the place. It's quiet, quiet, and green, close to everything you need to live, shop, restaurant, beach. A home stocked with everything, you enter and live.

Our family of 5 stayed at the villa for 10 days during our 3 week vacation in Gambia. The villa was very spacious and perfect for us. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are very clean. There is a lovely balcony on the top floor of the villa which we enjoyed sitting out on. The master bedroom is huge and very airy we actually did not need to use the air conditioning at all. The owner of the villa is the nicest and most responsive host I have ever encountered whilst using air BnB. He has 3 villas next door to each other and all 3 are in pristine condition. There is a small shop to the left of the villa that you can pick up basic items. And if you walk to the main round ( 4 minutes walk) you will find a larger supermarket style shop. The villa comes with a groundskeeper who lives onsite and he is available to assist you. A lady comes every two days to clean the house and change the bed linen. If we travel back to the Gambia we will definitely stay here again

Highly recommended place! Situated far enough out in the bush to have Your peace and quiet, but at the same time close enough to the village and the beach to get there within 15 to 20min walking distance. The room with the ensuite bathroom was just fabulous. The cleanliness extraordinary since the room was cleaned every day. Malika's kitchen was free to use at leisure and one always was welcome to have a chat or even share meals at her table - the real African 'teranga'! The solar powered electricity and the fully equipped European toilet added to the comfort out in the bush. Although one can enjoy his privacy, the place is at the same time ideal for groups and there is enough space. It even was possible to take some private Kora lessons there and apparently soon Yoga retreats will be taking place there.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Papou in Casamance. Correspondence has been taken over by Luc who was quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful. In Senegal, we were met at the nearby village by Gerard the caretaker who is very kind and highly knowledgeable about the region. Nene the cook/maid served us dishes from Casamance which were delicious. If you don't have a car it is far from the nearest village but Gerard can get you what you need or arrange a taxi. Both Gerard and Nene were thoughtful and generous and made our stay very special. The house and surrounding area is beautiful. There are actually two buildings, one with the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms and another for the kitchen and outdoor dining/lounge area. It is a relaxing, peaceful location, close to the ocean and a great place to bird watch! We definitely want to return!
