Vacation rentals with lake access in Wellfleet

We loved Joe's place. The house is located in a clean, quiet and spacious community within reasonable drives to areas of Cape Cod that matter. Both Joe and Steven are amazing hosts. They treat you like friends, always willing to offer local advice. We had an issue that required Joe to come over to take a look and he was over in minutes. We definitely consider coming back next year.

Tracy was extremely responsive and her home comfortably hosted our party of 14 with its spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The yard games and water sport equipment was icing on the cake with the property being a very walkable distance from the pond.

We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. A perfect location if you want to explore everything the cape has to offer. Our host was attentive and very attuned to what her guests would need.

Tam is an excellent host. The lake is picturesque and peaceful. The property is nestled between mature evergreen trees. The house is newly renovated, light, white, bright. Kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Lots of cleaning supplies. Tam was an exceptional communicator and very friendly. Appreciate the time!

We have stayed in several places in Cape Cod and the Brewster area and this was one of the best. House was great and very well equipped. AC in the main bedroom was very quiet which is a rarity so we loved that. The location is excellent - very close to the Rail Trail which gives quick access to Cobie’s, JT’s, bookstore and Ocean Edge (which now opens their front lawn for food, drinks and games!). We spent a lot of time at the lake which is incredibly beautiful and very quiet - it’s a short walk but you can also drive and park easily in case you have heavy things to take. The kids (9 and 10), loved it all as well- especially the lake and the “very comfy couch” :)

We stayed at this home with a group of five people and the home fit everyone great. The view from the home of the marsh is beautiful and we spent Saturday hanging out on the dock. It is really peaceful and we had an amazing time. Michele was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating with being flexible for check in and check out times. Thank you again!

Perfection - no description or picture can capture this amazing property. Comfortable, tasteful, amazing activities and watercraft/beach supplies. Perfect for active boating, beach, cycling around or simply watching the swans and herons from the deck with a beverage in hand. We can't wait to come back. Main part of house perfect for 3-6 in the three comfortable bedrooms and the "rec room" bedroom perfect for 4 single bed sleeps (or just me - I had the bedroom deck to do yoga at sunrise and was sooooo happy). We wanted for nothing.

We are already planning to return next year. This house was magical - the big open main room space with a lovely view of the pond was so relaxing to be in, we didn't want to leave. But the opportunity for our dog, Rooster, to go swimming steps from the house was a powerful draw to head outside. This is an area for people who like their privacy, nature and a quick walk to pristine and wild beaches. The simple-but-well appointed kitchen is perfect for spending time apart from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and enjoying good meals and great meals. Provincetown was :30 away and two great cafes (one French and the other the Salty Market) were about :15 away.

The condo is perfectly lovely and spacious for 2 people. Modern kitchen, very comfortable king sized bed. It’s conveniently located to anything worth doing in town but still far enough from the noisy areas. We’re definitely planning of staying here again!

Great apartment. Close to the beach and great restaurants, but also quiet and peaceful. Slept better here than I do at home.

As soon as I walked into Carol’s place, I felt right at home. In fact, I was sad I couldn’t stay longer. Dennis is a great centrally located area on the Cape (next to many great restaurants and a supermarket). The cottage itself is in a quiet neighborhood right in front of Flax Pond (great for kayaking). It was well stocked with amenities and things to do I could just spend all day there. Carol was friendly and responsive. I would book at the Compass Rose Cottage again!

This charming and intimate cottage made for a very comfortable weekend in Cape Cod. Heidi was very helpful along the way. Would stay again! Only notes would be that listed price did not include the cost of linen rental, and that a larger sized guest might not be comfortable here due to the narrow kitchen & bathroom (understandable characteristics for an old house!)

My wife and I stayed at May's place while visiting family on Cape Cod. As described, it's a cozy little cottage, which was just what we wanted. Quiet neighborhood. Most of our time was spent on the delightful patio. A short night-time walk to the pond was exceptional with moon light reflecting off the water. Next time we're on the Cape, we definitely return.

Me and my friends decided to spend 2 days at Ann’s beautiful airbnb & we are heading back to Boston with the most beautiful memories. Ann is a friendly & trustworthy host. The house was exactly as shown in pictures & had all the amenities we needed. Situated on a beautiful lake & close to grocery stores, restaurants & other scenic places. We will be sure to visit again in the future. Thank you Ann , I hope we can visit again soon

Leah responded to my booking request within minutes. This was so important because our previous reservations fell through. This was a last-minute booking and I’m so thankful that I was able to find such a wonderful location. Everything that was in the listing was accurate and we felt right at home after an easy check-in process. I cannot thank Leah and Brandon enough for their willingness to let us rent their beautiful cottage last minute. The home is fully stocked with anything that we may have needed. It was a little chilly, but the space heaters were enough to get us through the chilly nights. My kids and I were able to watch Halloween movies on the TV while gazing at the full moon from the skylight above in the living room. I’m looking forward to going back to Massachusetts in the future. There are so many different things that this town and surrounding towns offer.

First, Art was great to work with: near immediate helpful responses. The home is as described but still bigger than we imagined. Second was the location: right on Sands pond with a dock and boats we could use. It's on the end of a cul de sac with direct access to hiking trails and cranberry bogs that the dog (and us) really appreciated! Easy access to all Cape attractions - you can't go wrong with picking this home for your Cape experience!

One of my most treasured vacations was here on the Cape with my 86 year old Grandma, mama, and twin sister—staying at Andrew’s place made this a 12/10 experience. We all adored the space, it was clean, well decorated/furnished, filled with such charm and a cozy space to enjoy! I would recommend this place to any of my family and friends looking for a charming, secluded, and enjoyable stay :) Thank you Andrew! I will be definitely making my way back here with my husband.
