Vacation rentals with lake access in Wellfleet

The home was everything we hoped for and more; and exactly as the photos show! My family and I stayed here for a wedding at the Wychmere Beach Club, and it was absolutely perfect. The location was great, and the interior was beautifully designed—immaculate, well-appointed, and very comfortable/homey! Our hosts, Veronika and Thomas, were friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive. The bedrooms were ideal for our group of adults—no bunk beds, which was a big plus! The kitchen had everything we needed, and everyone felt right at home. I’d absolutely recommend this place, and when we return to the Cape, this will be our go-to spot.

We loved are family stay at Paul & Katie’s home for Easter Week. It is a dream home . The neighborhood was beautiful and walkable, with a peaceful path to a private beach. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Mashpee Commons about an 8 minute drive away.

Jen’s house was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear just how much love and care has gone into every detail. The photos already convey a warm, inviting vibe, but somehow being there in person is even better – which seems impossible, but it’s true!Also, the place was spotless and beautifully maintained. I was delighted by the fact that it was super clean and well-equipped. Also, Jen herself was wonderful – responsive, kind, and full of great recommendations. Every place she suggested to eat or explore was spot on. We especially loved the nearby Snowy Owl Coffee around the corner. The location of the house was also perfect: central enough to easily reach spots like Chatham, Harwich, and more, yet tucked away right next to a nature reserve, so it felt peaceful and private. One unexpected highlight were the bunnies, beautiful birds (incl. a hummingbird!) and calming nature sounds that we soaked up while sitting on the deck and in the kitchen or livingroom.

The host was friendly and responds fast. The house has clean, comfortable, and located in a nice neighborhood. We had two cars and parking was very easy at this house. The host provided a binder with recommendations of places and restaurants to visit, which ended up being super helpful. There are many grocery stores, beaches, and shopping centers within a 10 minute drive from this location so it was perfect!

We attended a wedding at the Ocean Edge Resort and we found Paige's home to be convenient to the venue and activities and a great alternative to staying on property. The home was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The weather turned out beautiful so we took full advantage of the outdoor space. I would highly recommend Paige's home to anyone who likes to be close to the beach, restaurants and golf, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

Susan and Gerry's place is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, modern, well equipped and is in a beautiful setting. Their home is in a central place that allows you to access all the sites that the Cape has to offer. It is to get to the quaint town of Sandwich or access the wonderful beaches of the National Seashore. They provide a beach pass that allows free access to some of these beaches. Their home is a quiet setting with access to walking trails and a local pond with beach access. This is our second year at their home and we are looking forward to spending time next year. Quickly sign up for this place if you can!

The house is clean and comfortable, well equipped with kayaks, life vests in different sizes, and table tennis. We enjoyed kayaking on the pond and fishing from the dock in the garden. The location is very convenient: it's near Brewster flats, seashores, Chatham Pier fish market, and Snow Owl cafe. We visited some antique shops in Brewser and played mini golf in Yarmouth. We really enjoyed our stay in Cape Cod.

Beautifully remodeled home, lovely setting on a large pond. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. I am an avid cook/home chef and appreciate the decent cookware. So many places have understocked kitchens and wounded cookware. Comfortable King bed. Thoughtfully decorated. Nice quiet neighborhood. We travel with our 13 year old boxer who has traveled the country and we appreciated the one level living. We did not mind being farther from town, we love the wildlife and the beautiful swan swimming on the pond! The host, Benjamin, was easy to get ahold of, though we had no issues with anything at all. The booklet on Salt Crystal that was sent ahead to us was extremely helpful to us! We would definitely stay here again!

probably the best airbnb experience I've ever had. Jean was a fabulous and responsive host and the airbnb was very well stocked and super comfortable. Loved the porch!! Would 100% return.

This was a perfect little spot we could escape to for the long weekend! We could have our dogs which was a huge plus for us and plenty of space to walk around for them - although it is on a small country road - it's not busy traffic wise at all which is great. It's an 8 min drive (or uber - easy to get) to downtown falmouth so you're super close despite feeling super private in nature. Would absolutely recommend.

We are already planning to return next year. This house was magical - the big open main room space with a lovely view of the pond was so relaxing to be in, we didn't want to leave. But the opportunity for our dog, Rooster, to go swimming steps from the house was a powerful draw to head outside. This is an area for people who like their privacy, nature and a quick walk to pristine and wild beaches. The simple-but-well appointed kitchen is perfect for spending time apart from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and enjoying good meals and great meals. Provincetown was :30 away and two great cafes (one French and the other the Salty Market) were about :15 away.

The condo is perfectly lovely and spacious for 2 people. Modern kitchen, very comfortable king sized bed. It’s conveniently located to anything worth doing in town but still far enough from the noisy areas. We’re definitely planning of staying here again!

Megan's place was amazing and we loved our 17 night stay! We often stay in AirBnB locations when we travel and this was really fantastic. The location is perfect - so quiet and peaceful BUT super-close to everything in the area. The unit also felt like it was brand new; everything was in amazing condition and very clean. It was also incredibly full of light, which was lovely. Megan was traveling while we were there but her parents were there in the neighboring house and WOW - they were the nicest, kindest, sweetest, loveliest people you could ever meet. They really made it feel homey. And unfortunately, my husband and I both had come down with some health issues and Megan and her parents were all SO helpful with recommendations for urgent care and dentists. Amazing people and an amazing AirBnB location. :) Oh, and the washer/dryer were top-notch! One thing to note is that you might want to bring a sleep eye-mask as it gets bright in the morning in the unit.

Kathy was a wonderful host and the place was amazing. I will simply say I did not want to leave!

Irie by the Lake was fantastic. The home is not only beautiful and perfectly designed and decorated, but it was the cleanest vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. Carol was super responsive and helpful. We are already planning to return.

The accommodation was lovely and the location was great. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Lisa's place was very pleasant. Her home is very nice with a lovely view of the lake and plenty of space for large families (we were only four people but can easily accommodate a few more). The neighborhood does not have a lot of car traffic which is great for walking and jogging around the lake. And it is also relatively close to Falmouth downtown and convenient stores. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and is very courteous and friendly. She really seems to care about her guests' comfortability. It was a pleasure dealing with her. Thank you, Lisa!

Carol is a great host. We had a small issue with the front door screen locking up and she came over right away and let us in. She is very responsive and responsible. I forgot my medication when I left and she was kind enough to mail it back to me immediately. She has a been a great host and I hope more hosts are like Carol. It rained the whole time we were there so we did not get a chance to check out the lakes around there but I am sure they are great. There is a mall near by with bowling so we did that instead. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days during MDW and it was great. Andrew is a very responsive and friendly host and the cottage itself was perfect. It’s steps away from the nearby pond, which is a beautiful spot to have your morning coffee. The cottage is also in walking distance to Mac’s Chatham Fish & Lobster, good ice cream, bike rentals, downtown Chatham, etc. Definitely would recommend this spot and stay here again.

Our party of 4 loved our stay at the Tower House! It's old and creaky and charming and welcoming. It's nestled in the woods and has a sweet screened in porch where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning listening to the birds happily chirping. An easy walk to Dyer Pond..for a quick dip! One day, we actually went to Dyer Pond, Great Pond and then walked to the Beachcomber for a hearty lunch , then walked back to the cottage, then took a nap! The stairs in the cottage are a bit steep but have sturdy railings and wall handles to hold while going up and down. We loved our long weekend stay stay and hope to go back, Thank you Heidi!

My sister and I stayed at Dave's cottage which was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. We had everything we needed for cooking. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the peaceful deck and grill. It is right off Route 6 but very well located being close to bay and ocean beaches. Although you do hear cars going by, the cottage is very quiet inside and on the deck. It was very peaceful and serene. the beach chairs and umbrella provided in the cottage were very handy! Super bonus! Of course, we spent most of our time at the beaches - but we really enjoyed Dave's cottage and would absolutely come back for a return visit!

My wife and I stayed at May's place while visiting family on Cape Cod. As described, it's a cozy little cottage, which was just what we wanted. Quiet neighborhood. Most of our time was spent on the delightful patio. A short night-time walk to the pond was exceptional with moon light reflecting off the water. Next time we're on the Cape, we definitely return.

We had a great time staying at Sam and Tom’s! It was so peaceful, had great amenities, and they were super responsive. There are a lot of great things to do in the area. We would definitely stay there again!

Cute AirBnB in a very quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended it.
