The Canal House

Our little getaway sits on a canal that leads into Lake Conroe. The marina at the lake offers jet skis and boats for rent. Our house comes with a canoe and a kayak. It also offers fishing in the canal. Very quiet, serene place with lots of beautiful birds. We particularly like to sit on the back porch and watch the egrets fly by or the ducks swimming in the canal. Perfect place for respite and recharge, or ramp it up and go jet skiing on the lake. Or both! This is a non-smoking home.

Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

This is a perfect place for a family gathering, golf getaway, or just a place to relax. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The kitchen is large, with a nice dining area. The living room is comfortable, and there are ceiling fans through out. We had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Conroe area. Evan was a great host, answered questions quickly, and was a great host.

Scooter was attentive, very personable, easy going, check in and checkout was totally on my time frame, AC was on and cold, and that was a pleasant surprise when I arrived from my ride in on the MC. Love the yard, so many difference types of trees and plants in the yard, making it a unique experience if you like nature. Definitely recommend, and hopefully stay again next year if available.

The entrance is marked by a solid gray door framed by two dark columns. A welcome mat is positioned at the foot of the door, and two solar lights are placed on the ground. Lush green grass adds to the inviting outdoor space.

Reina & Randall’s place is an absolute gem! It’s the perfect glamping getaway peaceful, scenic, and thoughtfully designed. Our two dogs had the time of their lives exploring the property, running around, sniffing everything in sight, and even taking a dip in the water. My husband and I loved the slow, quiet pace of the area. Mornings were especially relaxing as we eased into the day using the well-stocked kitchenette to prepare our meals. Everything we needed was there from cooking utensils to grill and campfire supplies. They truly thought of everything to make the stay fun and easy: kayaks, a rowboat, life jackets, cornhole, and horseshoes. Even though the lake was a bit low during our visit, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The cabin was cozy, the setup was great, and the bathroom was clean and stocked with towels & extra essentials. We had such a memorable weekend celebrating my birthday. The property was beautiful & they were incredibly kind. I recommend to anyone

Great place. Fiancé and I went to vacation for my birthday. Safe to say we plan on coming back one day. Felt right at home and was attended perfectly. We’ve never felt more comfortable and cozy in any other place like this one!

Casey is so responsive and communicates clearly with a helpful and friendly tone. The house was gorgeous and tastefully decorated. We spent most of our time in Houston but enjoyed coming back to stay at his home at the end of the day. I really appreciated how quickly he got back to me when we had questions and the clear instructions for check in/ check out. Thanks for the stay!
