Thank you, Jenni, we enjoyed our stay. Our host Jenni was very helpful and welcoming. There were some friendly dogs and other animals on the property. Perfect location for our overnight work stay. The unit was very nice with all the amenities and services you would need. Local Pub up the road for dinner. Even included breakfast (bacon eggs toast etc) Would be a lovely place to stay for the weekend or longer with the family and friends. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wild Sparrow Lodge. Serene Couples Country Escape

We had a lovely honeymoon at Wild Sparrow Lodge. Highlights were the kitchen/bbq and the backyard, the pool and spa are very well maintained. The laundry was also very useful. The couch was so comfy with a large TV and Netflix (your own account). The property was simply peaceful. Robes were a lux touch. The stars at night, incredible. Maleny nearby is convenient and stunning, we recommend the Maleny trail for a hike or jog! Also, Spicers Tamarind for the dinner banquet… yum! We bought local produce from town, the IGA and Maleny fine foods, and cooked it at wild sparrow lodge - we didn’t need to buy any cooking basics as all is provided, including your morning coffee. All in all, a great experience and affordable! Thank you Traci and Berni!

This Airbnb was the perfect weekend getaway. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Anasaskia was a wonderful host, she was very friendly and even took the time to show us around the cottage, tennis court and gardens upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend booking this property.

This house is perfect for a family getaway of eight! All the bathrooms are spacious, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable—with soft pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed, and the outdoor dining and seating area offered a spectacular view of the sunrise over the lake. My wife and I spent the weekend here for her birthday. We loved every single minute of it and plan to come back. The area is really quiet and the pictures on Airbnb really don’t do justice. You have to stay here to see it for yourself. It was actually raining for the whole duration but it only made the views look more spectacular. Perfect to wake up in the morning have a coffee and view the range from your bed

Amazing house in a beautiful location. Only 5 minutes up the road from boat ramp for lake Somerset. Kids loved the trampoline and parents loved the view which was very beautiful at sunset. Thanks again for an amazing long weekend which was our 11 year anniversary.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Alison's place. Catering for two couples, with other guests coming over one evening, we had plenty of places to choose from to relax, find solitude and to gather as a group. the views from the verandah were lovely. it's a place that is suitable for family gatherings.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely views either down to the dam or across the fields and trees. Very relaxing atmosphere, yet so close to Gympie town centre. If we had stayed longer than 2 nights we would have enjoyed a BBQ on the balcony and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.

Thoughtful and considered. The hosts thought of everything! Salts to soak for the outdoor bath, food for the friendly horses and a delicious welcome hamper. Touches such as having an oil diffuser on in the bathroom, little chocolates left on our bedsides and beautiful fresh flowers on the table made our stay feel that bit more luxurious. I’ll be recommending the Cowboy Cabin to all my friends and family. A must stay!

“Silverton” is a circa 1917 renovated timber weatherboard home located on a working 400 acre cattle property in the township of Somerset Dam, QLD. The house is located on top of a hill, looks over about 100 acres of paddock and is nestled below, and surrounded by, picturesque tree’d mountains. The house with period furniture has all the conveniences of a modern home. I highly recommend staying at this home! Thank you for letting us stay at Silverton!
