Our cottage is located in the heart of the village in the completely renovated outbuildings of the Château. All shops in Tournes (bakery, delicatessen, Proxy, 2 restaurants, 2 hairdressers, pharmacy etc.) and 10 minutes from Charleville Mézières in the Ardennes Natural Park. Possibility of beautiful walks. Lac des Vieilles Forges and Monthermé are 15 minutes away. The star-shaped fortified city of Rocroy is about twenty minutes away, the Château de Sedan is 30 minutes away and Reims is 1 hour away.

Everything was perfect. The welcome, both on arrival and departure, was impeccable. Ideally located accommodation to visit the hospital. Very well equipped, clean, we did not miss anything. Quiet in the evening (Saturday evening). The bedding is good, we enjoyed the fan. The cafe downstairs closes at 8 p.m. and does not bother you at all. If we were to return to Charleville we would not hesitate to return to your home. Thank you very much.

THE DUPLEX – 110 m2 apartment in the city center

We had an excellent stay in Charleville-Meziers. Remy’s apartment was located in the heart of town with many super bars and restaurants within a very short walk, as well as a couple of local museums celebrating the Ardennes and the poet Arthur Rimbaud. The apartment was very spacious, with a large lounge kitchen area, one bedroom with two beds and a spacious bathroom and separate toilet on the same floor, upstairs was the main bedroom with walk in shower and sink, we slept in the upstairs super king bed which was so comfortable and used the downstairs bedroom with walk in wardrobe as our changing room. Free parking was a 10min walk away, but we parked outside to drop our bags off and then moved the car. The apartment is on the top floor so be aware if doing stairs is a problem, although we were fine carrying our luggage up the once and down again at the end of our trip. If you’re traveling by train the station is only a 15min pleasant walk through town. A fantastic stay at The Duplex
