Family-friendly vacation rentals in Walensee

We stayed a few days at our accommodation and we had a wonderful time. Since we took our vacation in late summer, we had some services included. That was a very nice bonus to the accommodation. The apartment was modern and clean. Our children also particularly liked Pradas Resort. We were in the kids club, teens room, mini golf, pool, on the balloon slide outside, large playground upstairs, saw a herd of donkeys and much more. We highly recommend Pradas Resort and would love to come back ourselves. Thank you for the wonderful time at your place.🇨🇭💯

Very cozy and beautiful cottage in a great mountain landscape! Great environment for sledding! Willy is very friendly and takes care of everything! Definitely recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Scrinari. A very cozy and cozy house, with great views and all the necessary amenities. Clear instructions and very clean. A house to feel at home while you are on vacation.

Esther and Peter are very friendly and hospitality. Their lovely property is a detached house, we live on the first floor with shared entrance with them. The first floor flat is spacious, bright, warm and clean. It has everything we need for we cook several breakfast and dinners there. The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet; the nearest supermarket is about 5 mins by walking. The location is about less than one hour driving to Luzern and Zurich, while more than an hour to Rhine Fall. It is a good place for you to explore that area of Switzerland by driving. We will come back again and highly recommended this place.

Great place, good location, plenty of room for eight of us. As Uwe points out, the stairs are a bit tricky in the wintertime when they have a layer of ice on them, but other than that the place was great, plenty of amenities in the kitchen.

The home is beautiful and the views are beautiful. Paul and Theres were very responsive while we were in the home, giving us recommendations and letting us feed the animals. They were very helpful and brought us tablets as my boyfriend was ill, and they were flexible with our check out time too. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to visit other places, as there is not much to do without taking buses/trains. There are few English speakers in the area which is not a problem just something to be aware of! A beautiful stay in a beautiful home - thank you!

Gina is a great host. She is very warm, responsive and helpful. We were 2 families with 3 kids(two 5 years boys and one 1.5 year girl). There are a number of board games in the apartment and a small play area with swing, slide, sand toys, ball just outside the apartment building which kids enjoyed a lot. The apartment is in a peaceful area with beautiful views are all around. Snow mountain view is super amazing which one can enjoy from their bedroom(s). The apartment is very well ventilated and all the amenities are planned & organised considering various aspects. We all loved our stay and would love to come back here next time as well. Highly recommended!!

If you want to stay in a traditional historic Swiss farmhouse this really is the place for you. Yes, the floorboards creak and the ceilings are low, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a building of this age. It is well described and accurate. The views across the lake to the Rigi are breathtaking. It would be possible to simply sit all day and look out of the window. The accommodation has a lovely modern bathroom, is well equipped and as described. It is up a small private road which would be easy to miss if you didn't follow the clear instructions. Highly recommend a stay here. Jürg is lovely and the surroundings are simply gorgeous.

I can absolutely agree with the positive reviews of the other guests: Wonderfully quiet location in the countryside and yet in the middle of the village, the garden with seating is facing south, right outside the front door a cozy, covered bench facing north, also nice view of old houses. Around the village there are many animals : donkeys, sheep, cows, alpacas, llamas ... The furnishings of the apartment are wonderful and the communication with Katja was also super friendly and uncomplicated. Thank you!

We stayed for 10 days in Thomas's beautiful and lovingly renovated apartment. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. Also highly recommended with a small child, it had everything from toys to children's cutlery and even a travel cot. We highly recommend the apartment.

Oliver's apartment is highly recommended! We felt very comfortable😊. Location The location is great! Skiing: the bus stops at the front door and takes 1 minute to the cable cars in Flims. In the afternoon you can still sunbathe on the balcony. 🌞 Facilities Especially the kitchen is really well furnished. No cheap materials have been used. Top appliances, great finishes and comfortable furniture in the apartment. You can see small signs of wear every now and then, but totally ok and so it's much more sustainable💯. The children's room was smaller than expected, but still totally cosy. Additional 🧖🏼‍♀️ The swimming pool and sauna are right in the annex. The use is - once you understand it (everything is explained and the residents of Casa Caglims are super nice and helpful) - pleasant and soothing. You'll also have the sauna to yourself. We had a great stay at Daniel's apartment in Flims over Easter. Daniel is a superb host who is very friendly, communicative and goes out of his way to make you feel at home (he even provided Easter chocolate for us on arrival, which was a nice touch!). The apartment itself was clean, well-located and was equipped with all the amenities we needed for the weekend. The incredible mountain views from the balcony were definitely a highlight, and the top-class pool/sauna facilities were great for unwinding after a long day of hiking. I would 100% recommend Daniel's if visiting Flims or the surrounding areas in Graubünden.

What an incredible place! Absolutely worth the 10-minute drive into the mountains — the panoramic views are breathtaking. From the main bedroom, the view is stunning in good weather, and when it’s cloudy, the mist sits below you, adding a magical touch. There’s plenty of parking, and a huge veranda with sofas, a table, and a BBQ area. The apartment itself is a masterpiece of taste — far better than the photos. So many small details to admire. Floor-to-ceiling windows in every bedroom, a beautifully equipped kitchen, and everything made of high-quality, stylish materials. We wished we could stay at least a week, though we only had a few days. The only downside was a smell of cigarette smoke seeping in despite the door padding. We aired the apartment frequently — luckily, the mountain air outside is super fresh. We won’t lower the rating for this, because the place truly deserves the highest praise. A real design gem. The host was kind, cheerful, and generous. Thanks you for our stay!

The studio is very cozy and well equipped. It offers plenty of storage space and a well-thought-out kitchen. Due to the location on the sunny slope, coffee can be drunk at noon on the small balcony. The building is located directly at the bus stop as well as on the home run. Always happy to come back!

very nice stay! recommended. ideal for two, but as an adult with two children it also went well. just a pity that we could not enjoy the swimming pool because of renovation works, but Petra definitely compensated for that. perfect base for beautiful walks nearby. recommended!!!
