Kansai Airport is 9 minutes by train and 5 minutes on foot. We rent out the entire traditional Japanese merchant's mansion (old private house). Yuri is the name of the house that has been passed down from generation to generation in our family. Enjoy a relaxing Japanese trip with just your family and friends, without having to worry about other groups, rather than just a guest house. This inn is very popular with those who are interested in traditional Japanese culture and anime lovers such as Demon Slayer and Naruto. It is an old private house, but it has been completely renovated to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. It can be used for a wide range of stays for families and groups of 1 to 10 people. (The price won't change for up to 3 people) [The best hospitality not found in other guest houses] The Japanese garden, which spreads between the spacious 12-tatami-mat interior and the veranda, is the essence of traditional Japanese architecture. A former inn located on a hill with the remains of an old castle in Wakayama, Shirahama, and Kumano Kodo. Up to 5 people. Toilet, spacious barrier-free bath
Founded in 1957, my grandfather, Eiichi Tanuchi, ran an inn called Aiwasho for the cultural development of Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. In order to continue to protect its history and traditions, his granddaughter, Kiushuko, reopened the inn under its original name in 2021. Built on the site of Ueno Castle, this inn is a traditional Japanese house with tatami mats on the floor. Please relax in one of the two Japanese-style rooms. The inn is located on a hill overlooking the city of Tanabe, so you can enjoy the morning sun, sunset, and night view. On a calm day, we recommend having tea in a wicker chair on the edge of the hinoki cypress wooden deck, which was made in the image of the moon viewing platform of the Katsura Imperial Villa. The newly installed bath and toilet are spacious and barrier-free, so you can bathe together or use them easily even if you need assistance. We installed popin.aladdin (lighting with projector) in one of the Japanese-style rooms. It projects on the sliding doors You can watch TV, music, movies, etc. Enjoy BGM on YouTube before you go out in the morning. My parents, Kisaku and Shuko Tanai (Japanese), live next to the house, so please let me know if you need anything.

"Live like a local" Modern Japanese house | Garden, parking lot, whole house rental, 6 people
A place to spend some "free time" away from the daily grind. We have created a space where time flows quietly and carefully. The interior is made of solid wood finished by the hands of artisans. The pottery by Kada's potter adds a gentle beauty to the dining table. The selected furniture and lighting also focus on the balance between comfort and appearance. "An inn that embraces the time in between" That's the idea behind this place. This inn is located in Kada, a small port town in Wakayama. Surrounded by the sea and the mountains, the quiet land, the air of the town and the life of the people themselves will soothe your heart. The creation of the inn's space was also born as an extension of Kada's daily life. The cobblestone pavement leading to the alley and the gentle scent of the tide. At night, the stars appear, and in the morning, the fishermen's boats leave the harbor at once. The life of this town, which is in harmony with nature, is somewhat nostalgic and rich. Don't just stay, I hope you can enjoy the time and atmosphere of this place.

Whether stargazing, wading in the crystal-clear waters of the Hidakagawa river, or simply enjoying the company of rare chickens, this is a sanctuary for those seeking renewal and a deeper connection to nature.
