Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis after your long drive or your exciting cave experience. Very comfy Queen bed. Only 28 metres off State Highway 39, 2km northwest of the lovely town of Otorohanga. 15 mins drive to Waitomo Caves 2 minutes drive to town. Situated 15 metres from the main house, the unit is private and secure, with car park alongside unit. Easy entry - just walk in, there is a key inside. Good wifi, modern TV, microwave, jug, breakfast in the fridge - cereal, milk.

This house is situated on a working farm so on occasion there will be stock work nearby, (with the accompanying acoustics) other times it will be just the surrounding rural views to keep you company. The property is located within minutes from the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and all the other attractions that this region offers. Spend a couple of nights and visit the West Coast eg Kawhia with it's great fishing or dig your own hot pools. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room.

Stay in a Housetruck built from recycled/reused materials on the back of a Mack Truck. A Queen bed in the front loft and one single bed in the back. The Housetruck has basic kitchen facilities. Jug, toaster, fridge and microwave. A shower inside the truck, it runs from a califont so is set to one temperature using one tap. Please note that the toilet is located in a separate building about ten steps away along with the washing machine. You have unlimited private access to these.

Located 2.5 hours south of Auckland, deep in the green rolling hills of the North Island, the Waitomo Caves are a subterranean wonderland. The complex is made up of Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Ruakuri Cave, and Aranui Cave. You can experience striking stalactites and the twinkling glow from the resident glowworms during a boat tour.
Waitomo Caves Village is a small collection of shops, tour companies, and accommodations spread across a handful of streets leading up to the caves and the nearby town of Otorohanga. Full of brightly colored murals highlighting New Zealand culture and an enormous roadside kiwi sculpture made of corrugated iron, Otorohanga is a great home base for exploring the area.
