We had a wonderful weekend away at Nikki’s classic kiwi bach! The location is so beautiful, and it was great to be right on the waterfront. The Bach is lovely and had everything we needed for a great stay. I only wish that we could have stayed longer! Nikki is a friendly, helpful and responsive host. Hopefully we will get to come back again one day!

An amazing location with absolutely stunning views of the harbour. Well equipped. Lovely deck. A short but steep walk is well worth the effort for a relaxing drink watching the harbour. Non members welcome and great food. Some stunning beaches nearby for Ollie’s dog walks. Julia was very responsive to our messages. Highly recommended.

I booked on behalf of work colleagues and they had a very comfortable stay. Thanks for the prompt communication and wonderful home for the guys to relax in after work.

Awsome place to stay it's a good old school kiwi batch with everything you need. Boat ramps right across the road so super easy for fishing trips. Fleur was an awsome host with fast response to everything. Will stay again

The house was immaculate and beautifully presented in a tranquil bush setting. Sophie even made sure the Easter Bunny was able to get access which made for some fun egg hunting on our arrival. 🐣

A nice spacious bach with plenty of room for the kids. It has most of the mod-cons you'd expect, but also retains the "Bach" feeling very well. It's in a great location, with the boat ramp very close by, and beautiful coast/beaches within an easy walk. Harvey was great to deal with, and very responsive.

Always looking for somewhere a little unique, and Mabel's fits the bill with the historical character of the house evident as soon as one enters into a clean, comfortable living space just a few steps from the waters edge. Peaceful and quiet, and a short walk to the shops. Thank you Richard for the welcome upon arrival, and effort in making our stay relaxing and comfortable.

I would like to start off by saying how peaceful and beautiful and majestic this land is. The farmhouse is an amazing place to stay if you want some peace and quiet if you want to be able to see the Milky Way at night or wake up to cows and sheep in the morning. It was a last-minute Airbnb find for myself and my friend and Marissa was fabulous! She came over and made sure the house was good for us and when we got there, she also left us four fresh eggs, some freshly made hot cross buns, and some milk for the coffee. I felt like home!! The kitchen is unbelievable. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t wanna wake up. The sunrises over the mountains and the mist on the fields was beautiful. We got the most beautiful pictures of the sunrise and also some amazing pictures of the stars at night. I would recommend anybody in that area. The farmhouse is the place to go! Marissa and her husband showed us this beautiful scenic route to drive which we did and it was fabulous! The Farmhouse rocks

We had a lovely stay – the house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space and a great layout. It’s well-equipped, beautifully located, and the views are stunning. Despite the wild weather, it was a relaxing place to unwind. We were lucky with sunshine on our last day and made the most of the lawn, trampoline, and pool. The house isn’t a show home and could use a refresh in places, but it’s comfortable, homely, and ideal for groups. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would absolutely stay again – I bet it's even better in sunny weather!

We loved every minute of our stay at Nuku Cabin. Diane was so welcoming and made us feel totally at home. I loved all of the thoughtful detail she has gone to make our dog feel at home also, with supplying a doggy bowl, blanket and bed. The house was absolutely pristine and had everything we could possibly want. My family will definitely be back again.

We had an amazing stay! Rodd was incredibly professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is absolutely stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. The amenities provided truly elevated the experience as we had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. My family and I had so much fun as there's so much to do, and all of the amenities are in amazing condition. Thank you Rodd for being so accomodating! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

The cottage has a gorgeous view - such a treat to wake up to it every morning. Really spacious and ideal for a couple. Short drive away from some amazing beaches. Thank you, Kathy!

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

This is very nice place to stay. A quiet area with some good walks. My situation was a little different as I wasn't on holiday and wanted somewhere quiet and reasonably close to the hospital where I was visiting my husband each day. The property is off the road and there are auto gates. As I was on my own this made me feel very safe - on top of which Genevieve was in the main house a lot of the day. It was comfortable and cosy (given my stay was during the winter) and Genevieve and her husband went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Thoroughly recommend and if I ever need to be in Whangarei for any length of time I hope I can use this accommodation again.

The house was immaculate. It was clean, lots of photos of their family, well maintained, and the host was very nice. Because we booked uring easter, there were little easter treats that we found the next day. Their cat Henry is the most friendliest cat we've ever seen and he's gorgeous too. They've got a beautiful house and it's very well maintained. Host was super considerate and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Fantastic stay! The hosts were super lovely to deal with and had lots of friendly animals as well. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice and peaceful and quiet, overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

3rd time staying and it won’t be the last. It has become our family home away from home. Mixed weather allowed us to enjoy the beach for a couple of days before braving the bad weather to sightsee further. Location allows for a great mix of relaxation and being a tourist in the beautiful north. Thanks again Jo-Ann and we will be back.

What a stunning place, it felt like new! We enjoyed a special family weekend at this home away from home. The games room was a hit and we loved the sunny courtyard for our evening BBQ. The street is quiet, the Marina shops a short drive away. Two bedrooms upstairs are very hot. The late afternoon sun poured in and we found it hard to sleep at night. Ceiling fans helped a little. Aircon downstairs a welcome relief! All in all a fabulous home and we’d love to stay again.

Such a stunning spot. Tea’s place was everything we were hoping for and more. We just loved the vibe of the space for endless rounds of cards and snuggling up at night, listening to the roar of the sea. The perfect spot for connecting with family and faves.

We loved staying here. The view over the inlet is stunning and the perfect spot for watching the sunset. The cabin(s) - one for sleeping and one for the bathroom were cosy and really clean. The bed was very comfortable. It is secluded and away from any shops (which we loved) so you definitely need a car to get around. It has a good bbq and a microwave but no stove or oven (accurate from the description) so if you're wanting to cook for yourselves, it would pay to bear that in mind. Would definitely recommend!

A small cabin but it has everything you need and a million dollar view. Stayed one night and walked Mt Manaia and Smugglers Loop Track. If you find the grocery store closed after you get down the mountain like I did, try the Deck Cafe and Fish and Chip Shop near it, they have cold drinks and ice cream which is a life saver.
