The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. Our property is a working beef farm, so you will hear and see daily activities. The section is fully fenced. The porch gives a nice view of the valley. The pool is available from mid December to mid March usually. Pool is not heated. Kai Iwi Lakes 20-25 minutes drive and the Maunganui Bluff Beach 10 minutes. Note: 4 km of metal road off S H 12 to reach the house. No Wifi/Good mobile phone reception/Free-view TV Dargaville is the closest place for shopping and eating out.

The Blue Dolphin, Opononi, Hokianga

"The Blue Dolphin" 25 Harbour View Drive, is a small charming 120 year old cottage in a unique location on the water's edge in Opononi, facing north with uninterrupted views of the harbour and sand dunes. The information centre is next door as is the 4 square, fish n chip shop and the Opononi Pub! The cottage, which we treasure, has been refurbished - it is our private oasis and is to be respected and enjoyed - it is the genuine much loved "kiwi bach".

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.
