Incredible stay at Jody’s, the location was incredible at the foot of the mountains with views down to the lake. Jody had lots of great recommendations, including great hikes and good restaurants in town. It was the perfect place for us to unwind after a big hike, the spa pool was a huge bonus! Thank you Jody!

This place has the most incredible view with the lake and the mountains as the backdrop. It is almost like a painting! I will come back any day for the view. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and little details from the host like a pack of biscuits, premix coffee and wine - was very welcoming. The outdoor gardens and sitout are lovely. And pics don’t do justice. If you are reading this review, go book and experience it. Very lucky to have found this place in Tekapo. Restaurants are close by and we had a memorable dinner at Blue Lake. One point to note is that this place doesn’t have a dish washer. We didn’t bother much about it as the view from the kitchen is lovely too:)

We had a wonderful stay! The scenery was amazing — we could lie down right outside the villa at night and enjoy the stars. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the town center. The room was clean and comfortable. Natasha responded very quickly and was always helpful. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience.

This house is full of nice surprises !! I definitely feel like the posted pictures did not do enough justice to this beautiful and well furnished house! Although it was only for 1 night's accomodation, all the 10guests were well rested and honestly reluctant to leave the beautiful sccomodation. We will highly recommend this place to big groups.

This is the most beautiful place I had stayed during my New Zealand trip. The place was spotless, extremely cosy and new. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who wish to stay in Franz Josef.

Really lovely place to stay. We enjoyed how tranquil it was out in the country, and we even got a clear night to see the amazing stars! We didn't use the fireplace as there wasn't a fire guard and we had our one year old with us who likes to run head first into everything, but the beds were super warm and thankfully it didn't get too cold during our stay. Definitely planning on coming back again soon :)

Thanks James for having us. This cabin is a comfortable place for 1-2 people to rest for a night while visiting Franz Josef and surrounds. All the major attractions and services are only 5-10 minutes away by car. Would recommend as straightforward accommodation for those visiting the West Coast.

Olivia’s place is just awesome. I don’t think there can be a better place to spend time in Fox glacier region. Incredible views, spotless cottage, with all the amenities you can think of. There is so much thought put into every minute detail- the decor, cutlery, furniture, upholstery - right from the colour of the mugs to the lamps, to bath salt and candle - everything is flawless. Lucky to have been here. Lovely, responsive host. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. Great great stay.
