If you want a genuine Bedouin experience with a real family and at the same time to have privacy and comfort, this is the place to stay. Surrounded by canyon in a Bedouin village, right next to Petra (ca 5 min by a car), offering a delicious locally made food, clean rooms and spotless bathroom... Hosts are both lovely, speak good English, and my cat and I were well taken care of.

Such a great experience staying with Eman and Ali. Very kind hosts and hospitable, showed us the amazing Bedouin hospitality. Her sons showed us around Petra on their donkeys. Especially fun for children to play in the yard. Eman is a great cook - make sure you try her food.

The location is great because it is not in the very touristic area, it feels very authentic. Wafa’a was a great host and the breakfasts on the terrace were amazing with nice views on the surrounding mountains and hills. Well situated to explore Petra, recommend taking two days to make the most of it !

The first word that comes to mind when I want to describe the stay at Halimah's is “Perfect.” Everything was perfect. Halimah and his family are super welcoming and will take great care to make your stay go smoothly. A rewarding stay where Halimah will help you discover his culture. Location is close to Petra and will be at a better value for money than nearby hotels. Would definitely stay with Halimah again during my next visit to Jordan
