A small coastal cottage roughly 5 min drive outside the harbour town of Saldanha. The cottage is private but connects to the side of our home. It is literally on the ocean with spectacular views of the bay and harbour boasting 3km of sandy beach, stretching in either direction. The bedrooms are north facing, catching mid day sun. The cottage falls with in a small private home owners estate, is secure and quaint and is perfect for those wanting to spend their days lazing on the beach.

Perfect location RIGHT on the beach. A very rare find in for this area and at this price! Enjoy this lovely, 2bed 2 bath beachfront apartment for a short trip, or an extended holiday. Kept immaculately clean and tidy. It has 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, small patio with gas Weber braai, Smart TV (Netflix) and Fibre Wifi. But for that, the unit is basic, just the way we like for a family oriented, beach getaway. All you need to do is arrive, and relax.

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. There is a large living area with full DSTV & a wood burning stove. Please note that you may only use wood (no charcoal ) in the stove. Pse bring your own wood. We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at the accommodation. Karien, the host, gave clear check-in instructions that were easy to follow, she is very responsive with messages and gave us recommendations for dining spots to visit in the area. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare light meals. The bedding and towels were quality brands, and they were clean and fresh. The views from the room is breathtaking. It was refreshing waking up to a beautiful sunrise in the morning. My husband and I would return anytime. Thank you! Regards Tyler & Casandra

We really had a lovely stay. Felt right at home. Everything were very clean and neat. Loved the view and the apartment is so cozy and warm in the afternoons with the afternoon sun warming you up on the cold winter days. This is the place to stay when it is winter. Cherize where a lovely host so welcoming and very friendly. We would always come back to this place again and again.

We only stayed for a night but loved the place and will definitely visit again. The hosts were very thoughtful with what they provided the unit with, particularly the cosy extra blankets and the espresso machine. We went to Rocxi beach bar for dinner (recommend by host through web page they created) and loved the sushi and cocktails. 10/10 would recommend!
