We really enjoyed the outdoor area as well, including the barbecue zone and the year-round pool. The house is within walking distance of thermal hotels, pools, cafés, and restaurants. We were very warmly welcomed by Maria Helena, a super sweet lady. She showed us around the house and gave various tips. We enjoyed the full fruit basket on the table and the delicious pastry which was a nice surprise. It is a house with character and it is tastefully decorated. There were plenty of bath towels and fresh sheets. The kitchen was completely complete, we didn't miss anything. It was also fine to spend time outside. A covered south-facing terrace with a BBQ that we have used several times. There is a washing machine and also washing lines and pegs. The village was within walking distance and there were regularly festivities. In short, we had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Very well located and beautiful place. Ideal for relaxing and for children to have contact with the already rare everyday life of the Portuguese villages. In addition to the friendliness of hosts, the locations have always been helpful. Returning.

Pleasant house in a very pretty mountainous setting with a wonderful view of Serra da Estrala. Ideal for those looking for a peaceful stay to recharge and enjoy the scenery that Serra do Caramulo has to offer. Thoughtful and welcoming host, would recommend!

This is the right place for you if you're looking for some tranquility, far from the buzz of cities, with a beautiful surrounding! The house has a charming rustic style and is well equipped. Pedro is friendly and responsive if you need anything. We wish we would have stayed a bit longer!

We booked Quinta do Pedregal for a small family gathering. The facilities were perfect for us. The dining room, barbeque area and game room provided entertainment for everyone at all times. Hugo was very friendly and flexible to our arrival and departure times. During the check in, the information shared about the facilities operation was concise and spot on. All the family had a great time, and we'll definitely consider it for future gatherings. The refurbishment work performed by the owning family as well as the collection of old farm and household items is nothing short of impressive!

wonderful stay in Portugal for a mountain bike race the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Everything is beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated. many much appreciated touches: fresh eggs, fresh breads for us. Real hotel services with beds made on arrival, towels available with many amenities: swimming pool, washing machine, pellet stove, we have rarely occupied such a beautiful accommodation. Our stay went wonderfully well. Very quiet place and conducive to rest and healing, I recommend 1000%

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

We loved the experience! The place is simply charming, surrounded by nature, perfect for resting and disconnecting from the routine. The hut is beautiful, very welcoming and with all the details thought out in detail. Gustavo and his wife's service were incredible — super attentive, always worried if we were okay and still gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. We feel really well received. We love the place and we'll definitely be back!

It was a short stay, but I really enjoyed the village where Mr. Pedro. It was very sweet and always available and useful for something that was necessary. An experience to be repaired no doubt. Reclaimed house very pleasant and welcoming, with a breathtaking view.

Staying in the sunset house, it was an amazing experience!! The house is beautiful, as it is not only an old house, with many original details, very well used architecturally in recovery/rehabilitation, but it is also very well decorated (with an excellent rustic, country and modern combination)!! The owners (Miguel and Rita) are extremely friendly and helpful, and without being too close, quickly head to the house if there is a problem. The house is also very well equipped, with many objects for daily use, appliances and the like. In the rooms the curtains are very good and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. By the way, all rooms are very welcoming! It has a large garden, great for resting and for leisure, alone or in a family. It is also possible to barbecue and eat outside on warmer days. We can highly recommend 🔝 5⭐
