The cottage is cozy, spotless and spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped for some serious cooking. Heating works great and covers the whole unit. The location is far out of the town about 25 minutes drive on a gravel road. Stock up before check-in is almost a must. Also, check the weather because the road condition in and out could determine your travel to and fro. The host is very responsive. I had no communication problem during my stay.

Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und hatten das Anwesen für uns alleine. Die Nutzung der Sauna und des Kaminofens ist toll. Die Fußbodenheizung im Aufenthaltsraum war sehr angenehm. Es wurde extra Frühstück für uns bereitgestellt (Brot, Müsli, frisches Obst, Joghurt etc.). Von Egilsstadir benötigt man ca. 30 Minuten, dafür ist der Ausblick in die Natur herrlich. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben – sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, genau was wir gesucht haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für alles!
