I don't even know how to authentically describe this enchanting place ... you have to see it. The house is in the beautiful little village of Ooltgensplaat. It is quiet, idyllic and very lovely. The house is exceptionally beautiful, the rooms are very special and furnished with attention to detail. We felt very comfortable. It was a relaxing family vacation. If you feel like more hustle and bustle, you can quickly get to Rotterdam - an absolutely fascinating city. I'm sure we'll be back!

The property is located in a cute little allotment garden. The garden is very beautiful and there it can be endured just as well as in the accommodation. If you want to slow down and still have everything nearby, it's perfect! The bikes (two pieces) were even part of the accommodation, which I wasn't aware of before. Everything worked out great and recommended.

We had four perfect days at the Bed&Broodje. Ingrid is a super nice and caring host. She prepared the best breakfast. Every day she brought different rolls or croissants or special treats to our door. We always had syrup, sprinkles, peanut butter and cheese at the apartment. The beds are very comfy and we all slept very good (including our little kids). Our daughters loved the garden with the hammock and chickens around the house..they always stayed outside searching for fresh eggs...but also inside the house we had plenty of games and books to discover :) All in all we loved our stay with Ingrid and would definetely come back any time!! Thank you for the nice place. Sil and John have put a lot of love into this cottage. There are a lot of nice little touches that make it a special place to stay. If you're looking for Swedish minimalism, this is the wrong place. You can tell that John has designed a lot of the house himself, then the tiles in the bathroom are not perfect, but that didn't bother us at all, it adds to the charm. Attention, is heated with a wood stove in the kitchen and an automatic oven in the other room. In winter it could be quite cold, at 14° outside it gets warm and cozy quickly. Take slippers with you!

We had a great time at Anja's place. It's all as described, the kitchen is very well equipped and we felt very comfortable. The 3 bedrooms are next to each other, next to it the bathroom - unfortunately it is a bit clairvoyant. The kids loved the garden & the creek, there were also many games available (in the closet by the kitchen counter), which was great. Most of the surrounding houses within the park seem to be in private hands, it was very quiet (at least shortly before Easter) and we were able to relax well. You can walk to the bus stop to Renesse in about 30 minutes, and the bus runs once an hour. You can walk about 40 minutes to the nearest beach pavilion, it was a nice walk. We are happy to recommend the house and thank you for the nice time! :-)

The property is in a very quiet complex. Two restaurants and a Spar market were within walking distance in mid-April 2025. To get to Brouwerhaven or Scharendyke you need a car or, as is customary in Holland, a bicycle.

I can highly recommend a stay at this unique house. We were a group of 10 visiting Vlaardingen for a wedding, everything was perfect, we could not have wished for anything more

The contact with Bert-Jan was super nice and he always tried to do everything. The house is practically decorated and clean. The garden is large and completely fenced - perfect for smaller children or vacationers with a dog like us. If you just want to get away for a few days, don't need much around you or accept a 30-minute drive for the day at the beach, this place is perfect. We were able to relax super, with three teenagers (Wi-Fi available😅) and a dog.

The place is clean, has comfortable beds and is very well equipped. We especially liked the good equipment in the kitchen. The place is in a quiet location, but it's perfect as a base for trips to The Hague and Rotterdam. Beautiful tulip fields are also found in the region during the flowering season.

Paul was a great host , holiday park is really nice for relaxing , close to south of Netherlands activities if you want to feel the local life

We stayed with our two young sons for a few nights. on arrival, Kim and co were very responsive and helped us solve an issue quickly. The house is comfortable and clean and has everything you need for a nice stay. There is also a good sized garden and it's relatively private. we had a pleasant stay and would recommend to families.

We enjoyed Wiel's house very much, it is very well equipped. The location is also great for many activities on the beach or in Helkevoitsluis. We will gladly recommend it.

The time in the villa was nice, the house was clean, cozy. In the beginning, it was a bit chilly for us, unusual for us, but everything was fine again through the movement. The hosts are very friendly and open. Highly recommended.

This cabin was the perfect place for me and my littles! Short drive to the tulip fields and other fun locations, host was extremely friendly and responsive, and the actual cabin was amazing!! The two bedrooms were so cozy and comfortable, kitchen was really modern and the living space in general so cute. The fact that it had heating AND AC which was extremely easy to use was such a nice find, I feel like that's a rarity in Europe sometimes - the little porch was so cute and we loved the setup. Parked right next to the cabins and just generally felt safe and welcome. The little community on that island is so quaint, total vacation vibes everyone biking and kids playing - playground and pool nearby that we didn't have time to actually use, but we definitely plan to return again at some point, it was such a great place to stay and completely comfortable. Plenty of storage space and really nice bathroom. We loved it!
