Spacious monumental apartment with canalview

The apartment is in a 300-year-old house, basicly arranged inside but enough for 4 unpretentious. In the bedroom with a bunk bed it can be more complicated for someone taller to climb into the top bunk or for someone claustrophobic to sleep. I didn't have any of these issues. The location is exceptional, in an idyllic area, near a canal where you can see swans and ducks. By car you are close to a lot of points of interest at max. 1 driving time: Rotterdam, The Hague, Kastel de Haar, Utrecht, Gouda, Brielle. Peter, the host, lives next door and is super kind, gives you tips to make your life easier around. Important if you rent the car: you have permanent parking place in front of the house.

I really enjoyed Romana's beautiful home. The place was very clean and was equipped with all the comforts I had nice weather so I enjoyed the sun on the sofa in the backyard. Maasland is very nice for hiking and after a 5-minute walk already in nature. A nice kitchen, a good bed and a particularly nice bathroom I wish Romana good luck she received me well and helped me with all my questions

Thanks Cathy and John for your hospitality. Particularly thanks John for picking us up even though we were late due to train delays. Your place was really nice, modern and neat. Fascinated by the app controlled lighting and other devices you had set up. Loved your humour and spirit behind your overcoming of the things that would normally be challenges for other people. My daughter remarked that she had never seen that many inspirational quotes. Very nice.

The communication at the beginning, before the trip started, was already super friendly. Due to a construction site, Floor had sent me a screenshot of the route directly, so we arrived at the accommodation without any problems. On site, it is beautiful and quiet. Horses, chickens and pheasants can be seen on the farm. There is also an extra dedicated parking space for Air BnB guests. Floor welcomed us warmly and explained everything in the apartment. She also gave us many tips on what to do over the weekend. Delft is definitely a good recommendation here. Floor also responded super quickly to last-minute messages. We ordered the homemade breakfast on the last day. It was super delicious and is definitely worth the price! I will definitely come back. Thanks again, dear Floor. 🧡

I had an amazing stay at Jonas' place! Jonas and his wife are incredibly warm and welcoming, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was very spacious, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and friendly place. Would definitely stay again!

Only my second Airbnb experience, but Jacqueline set the bar pretty high. Perfect location for relaxed as well as active days. From Vlaardingen you can get everywhere easily by public transport. The lower bed is probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy the sun with friends. If I ever look for a place to stay nearby again, I would definitely like to come back here.

Sydney's apartment is bright, clean, comfortable and well-equipped (you can find everything in her kitchen😊). It is located in a residential area - the city of Vlaardingen west of Rotterdam - where we were able to easily park our car (and for free). 5-10 min walk to 2 supermarkets and the metro. So, by public transport, Rotterdam Centre is accessible in about 15-20 minutes, depending on where you want to go (Beurs, Blaak, Delftshaven). Finally, Sidney is a great host, welcoming, very sociable, very funny and very helpful (e.g., didn't understand how the lock worked but, no worries, Sydney was there😉). And then, he is accompanied by Jaxx the cat, very cute and adventurous 😉 (willingly wanders around the neighborhood). So I highly recommend Sydney and his apartment!

Jacqueline had thought of everything to make my stay comfortable. Really appreciated the tea, coffee and breakfast treats! The bed was super comfortable and the bath and shower very luxurious. Vlaardingen is really interesting with lots of history and green spaces, close to the beach (Hook of Holland) and the fascinating port of Rotterdam. Train travel is dead easy too.

Very nice and cosy room equipped with a water cooker and a small fridge. Very welcoming and friendly landlords. We didn't see eachother much but Cathy was quick to answer any messages and her husband was kind enough to pick me up with the car at the train station when I arrived. I would book again!

The accomodation at Sarah's was very nice. It was exactly the same as described and the same as on photos. It was clean and well organized with other rented rooms. I used this accomodation for the second time and if I would need to stay at this area again, I think I would deffinitely use this accomodation again.

Floors accommodation is a real feel-good place – quiet, spotlessly clean and so inviting that you immediately feel at home. The perfect place to unwind. The animals radiate incredible tranquility, and the wellness area leaves nothing to be desired. We can especially recommend the massage: My partner had to struggle with neck problems for several days – after the treatment they were blown away! Breakfast was plentiful, and Floor responded to all our requests. Here we could finally escape everyday life and completely switch off. I can recommend it to everyone!

I spent Easter with my husband and it was perfect. It felt so cozy to unwind at the end of the day with a glass of wine in the bath. The location was great for exploring the nearby cities, with a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away and some lovely restaurants in the area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Never thought I had this kind of peaceful day here. Here’s a little far away from downtown but near the station if you want to go outside. It makes me feel home and I’m surprised that the old piano in the living room. I played it during those the rainy days. Thanks so much!

Jonas and Sarah are very kind, and they respond promptly to any questions. The place is always clean, with a well equipped kitchen. This is a great place. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance. 5 minutes’s from the place, there is a metro station and a good supermarket. From the station, one can take trains to Rotterdam and other nearby cities. It made moving around very easy for me, as a new person in the area.
