Waterfront vacation rentals in Viseu District

We rented the entire floor for 5 people: 3 double rooms, one kitchen with a closed terrace, and two bathrooms. The apartment is very functional, well kept and well located. We recommend it!

The house was spotless, very cozy and with everything you need for a perfect stay. The owner was lovely from the first moment: he met us with typical local products and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and where to eat. Definitely a 10 experience. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely apartment with parking and elevator. The view from the balcony is stunning! Maria was very sweet and helpful. We had difficulty finding the location and Maria and I did not speak the same language so she had someone call me back that spoke English to help me find the location and answer any questions. Great location, great apartment. highly recommend :)

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

Helga and Mario have a beautiful clean place with incredible views of the Douro River Valley. We had great instructions to get to the home and how to get in with a keyless code. It was raining and cold so we were soaked getting the gate open and getting suitcases inside. There’s a fireplace in the living area and I asked Helga if we could get firewood and within minutes someone arrived with wood and he even built us a fire. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I needed a haircut/ pedicure and Helga made me an appointment with Sonia in the next village of Tabuaço for the day after we arrived, that was wonderful service and kind of her. I was very pleased. Helga gave very good information on things to do in the area and places to eat. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had while traveling. Everything was clean and as stated in the listing. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs if that is an issue but we were told this before we booked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were a group of 3. We travel a lot and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches at Ana's place! We drove from Porto and arrived early and Ana was very flexible about allowing us to leave our bags earlier than the check in time. Of the Airbnbs in Portugal, this was our favorite. Do not expect modern decorations but you can count on many comforts that other Airbnbs do not have. Not only is fresh bread delivered each morning but Ana also stocked her kitchen with fresh fruit, milk, juice, sugar, honey, jams, plenty of coffee pods, and she stocked the refrigerator with cheese, eggs, beer, a bottle of wine. The place is very spacious and could have comfortably accommodated more than 3 people. There are cosy bathrobes in the closets, an extra blanket, slippers and plenty of outlets in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is so lovely and peaceful. If you come to Pinhao, I highly recommend Ana's place!

We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

We had a great time at Antonio's place. It had everything we needed and he was a great host. the place is lovely with a private garden and pool with amazing views! we will definitely come again

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!

Beautiful location, private and serene, Maria Lurdes is a fantastic host. She took time to show us around and explain the local culture and towns. The house is beautiful with so much space for games, gym, office space, living area is spacious for large groups. The river is right in front with easy access. Will definitely go back again to enjoy the house and Maria’s great hospitality. Would easily give the place 6 STARS out of 5!!!!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Adriana sent us suggestions, directions and pictures of the location prior to our arrival making it easy to find. She also let us drop of luggage pre check in which was a great help.

This was a true reset! ❤️ The surrounding nature is breathtaking — peaceful, quiet, with fresh air — the perfect setting for a relaxing family getaway.The hosts have thought through every little detail to make the stay as comfortable as being at home.The house is incredibly cozy — you can feel that every element was created with love. Wow! So much more than the photos show. We were a group of 6 traveling Portugal and added the Douro to the itinerary for beauty and relaxation, we weren’t disappointed. Communication was fantastic, the house is extremely well equipped for cooking and leisure and the beds were really comfortable. Every corner of the house has a wow moment. The surrounding property was beautiful to walk around, none of us wanted to leave for the next leg of our trip. A special mention to Antonia the caretaker who was very helpful and friendly. If you’re planning on touring the wineries and in need of a driver Paulo is fantastic and can be contacted via the host. We will be back.
