Ancient Calabrian house with three floors and garden in the historic center of Strongoli. The internal staircase with decorated ceiling leads to the first floor: a large living room with fireplace, a large kitchen with fireplace, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. On the second floor there are two smaller rooms and a bathroom. On the roofs a panoramic terrace. On the ground floor there is a roof garden, a small chapel and a bread oven. In front of the door a stone millstone from Roman times welcomes visitors.

A mountain home at the foothills of the Sila mountains, carved into the rock of a steep ledge, with old olive trees below and an amazing panorama over a braided river valley. Private, yet close to the main road with easy car access. The ancient city of Rossano at 15 min and the sea at 20. This guesthouse is best for guests who love nature and ancient Calabria. If you're looking for a real, quiet, relaxing vacation in a ancient town of Calabria, the house suits your needs. Pietrapaola is an old town, 12 km far from the Ionic sea. Nowdays only 200 people live here. My father renovated the ancient family house: a two floor old Stone house with a gorgeous view on the Calabrian Sea. It's perfect for a couple who is discovering the old tradition of Calabria. Important: The only way to get to our house in Pietrapaola is by car. No public transport or taxi
