Vacation rentals in Village Mills

This place was very relaxing surrounded by nature, every morning and evening we saw deers right outside our window, the kids loved it! The lake is within walking distance and it is great for fishing or kayaking. We didn’t get to use the studio because it was only four of us, but it is a great extra room fully equipped with a kitchenette for larger groups. Our boys loved playing in the basketball and tennis courts, having these amenities was such a big plus for us! Jennifer was a great hostess she was flexible and very responsive. The only thing I would say is that the outdoor furniture could use a bit of TLC. We fully recommend this place and will try to be back soon.

So much room! Wonderful kitchen to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Be prepared to bring your own paper products and anything you’ll need for cooking beyond salt and pepper. Wonderful dishes, mugs and glassware. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the big dock for fishing and getting in and out of our kayaks. The yard is nice and big and the fire pot was enjoyable. The garage apartment worked perfectly for our overnight guests. We can’t wait to go back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, which was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. With wooded areas on both sides and the lake behind, it felt very private and immersed in nature. It was fascinating to sit by the lake or watch the changing scene through the glass doors, with cardinals and other birds at the feeders, squirrels running around, and the movement of the water or trees in the breeze. Next time we’d bring binoculars to get a closer look at the different breeds of ducks swimming by. There is no shower and the deep soaking tub would have been difficult to use at our age, so we just managed without it for our short stay. Everything else was provided for a relaxing getaway and Robert was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you, Robert!

The house was perfect the only thing we needed and didn't have was washclothes and bodywash or bath soap. The weekend was perfect and the flowers were amazing and I hope you don't mind but I filled up your hummingbird feeder they were at your house😀

The pavillion was perfect for my small gathering. We really enjoyed the weekend and the property was very comfortable. All instructions were very clear and there were plenty of supplies. Thank you very much.

Alina was fantastic and extremely patient, we had some things come up on the day of check in and she was super understanding and kind. She stayed later than necessary to make sure we were well set up with a smile on her face. She genuinely enjoys what she does and it shows in the details of care.

We had an amazing time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was spacious and had tons of extras and fun things to do. We never got bored. We prepared a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, which was large and stocked with everything we needed and more. There were plenty of toys, games, and scooters for the little ones. They enjoyed a boat ride and rode their bikes around the circular neighborhood road. We even met some neighbors who invited our boys to jump on their trampoline and loaned us a cup of sugar. The area is quiet and safe. Inside the property, once the driveway gate is closed, we had total privacy and lots and lots of space to run around. The kids loved taking scraps to the chickens and collecting eggs for breakfast. The adults loved the spectacular view and that the kids were always occupied. We had kids ranging from 9 months to 7 years old. Alise is the definition of a super host. She always responded quickly, kindly, and had great advice.

This home was perfect for what we needed. We traveled with our grown children which included 7 adults, one toddler and one dog. The house was clean and comfortable. It is located in a great area that is near many restaurants and stores. Amber was very helpful with any questions we had and very responsive when we could not figure out how to heat the hot tub. The pool and hot tub were just the perfect bonus for our trip. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Southeast Texas.
