My boyfriend and I stayed at Mark and Wendy’s listing to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect spot for us. We even brought our dog with and it was so accommodating. Mark and Wendy were so helpful with questions I had, and they answered very promptly. I definitely recommend their listing if you’re looking for something up north that’s close to town, but also far enough out of town so it feels homey and peaceful. We will for sure be coming back!

The floors are heated in the main part and the shower has an on-demand heater, so the hot water never runs out trail 51 is less than a mile down the road from the driveway along with the number one snowmobile stop! Absolutely gorgeous cabin on a peninsula into the river, surrounded on three sides by water! One of the most tranquil places we have stayed, with all the amenities you could need. The kayaks/canoes were lovely and Susan provided so many other little touches we never knew we needed! Another plus to the rustic cabin is the built-in easy-to-use sound system which made for great memories singing songs together while cooking dinner etc. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone planning a visit to Eagle River or the Northwoods of Wisconsin!

Stayed here with friends for a snowmobile trip. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, and plenty of hot water for all of us! Wood available for fireplace which was nice to relax and warm up after riding all day. Beautiful views even in winter. I’d stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at Smeagle's Terrapin. We spent a lot of time on the dock catching fish and we also had a ton of fun watching movies in the theater room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The home was also close to some incredible biking and running trails, the Winman trail system. This was a perfect place for our family of four to celebrate the the start of summer break. We will definitely be back again

That 70s Place - with river and lake access!

This was our second (annual) stay and we are already talking about returning again next year. We had such a great stay! The location is great for us - lots of great hikes and interesting places to visit within an easy drive. The amenities of the cabin are all first rate. We especially enjoyed the full kitchen and grill and enjoyed fabulous home-cooked meals every evening. The view of the river from the cabin is so beautiful. We enjoyed seeing how it changed from moment to moment and day to day. At times there was mist rising from the water, at other times, the water sparkled brightly. Truly beautiful. We have been so looking forward to this year's week at the cabin - and it did not disappoint. I most highly recommend it to you!

Our stay at Evan's house was amazing and very relaxing. The spacious layout provided generous room for everyone to relax. The access to kayaks and paddle boats made our time on the water fun, and the option for boat rental allowed us to explore even further. The kitchen was well-equipped, making cooking a breeze, and we had an amazing time tubing and enjoying bonfires under the stars. With exceptional communication from our host Evan, this place is the perfect getaway for relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
