Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

It’s a beautiful house, which is cost and well equipped. I can definitely recommend it. Only point to approve is that the location as advertised on AirBnB is not the location where the house is. The street name is correct, but not the location in the map. I thought I booked a house in the city center, but it’s 6km outside the city and with only one restaurant at approx. 15min walking distance. Still a very nice stay - just beware of the location.

Carla is the ultimate host. This is our second year in a row we have stayed at one of her properties and will not be the last. Her attention to detail is extraordinary as are her properties. Beautifully done. Peaceful location. Great pool. Highly recommended!

Nathalie's place is gorgeus! The little village has a lot of character and you feel as if you were in a fairytale. she was very thoughtful and left some water, coffee, and other goodies in the fridge for us. There was a little issue finding the place at first because the like in airb&b sent us to a different town. However Nathalie quickly sent us the right address and we were able to find the place. There is no wifi in the appartment (it was not in the description); but adding internet connection would be a plus. As a family of 5 we had a great experience staying here.

Surrounding the beautiful house in the middle of nature but close to the town of Ribera de Pena so it was accessible to buy. The spacious house with a nice back area for breakfast, barbecue and recreation grounds for our dog. It has all the essential utensils with a typical "order" of town house. There was no toaster but it did sandwich so we were trying to roast the bread. Capsule coffee maker although we would have preferred the usual Italian (there was one but it was not in great condition). Covered, plates, glasses, etc left over. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Little pressure in the toilet flush but no problem. Both kitchen fires and hot water work with butano gas. The host was Maria, Joao's mother, very kind at all times. He waited for us on the road because you have to be very attentive the first time not to pass the crossing that leads to the house. Nos regaló patatas e fig de su horuerta.

Perfect space. Really a super complete vacation home. Our congratulations for the space. The only "problem" we had was locomotion outside the house. We have a the family with limited mobility and the number of stairs and own house being situated on a slope did not help much. But obviously this is not a defect. We just wanted to highlight this part because as we have a lot of people in this situation and it makes it difficult a little bit. Outside if the stairs had handrails would be ideal . But everything was perfect thank you

I have to thank Miss Laurie and the ladies who gave us the presentation of the house and the amenities, in addition to their friendliness and flexibility, the house is very well equipped and completely functional and surprised us by the positive , we didn't miss anything and the hosts were always available and took care of our comfort from the first to the last day. I recommend to everyone who has the same experience we had and I hope a day later to return 😁

The stay was above my expectations. The house is located in a quiet and very pleasant place. It is just over 15 minutes from Vila Real and 5 minutes from Vila Pouca. I really liked the outdoor and indoor spaces. The garden is lovely. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The room is very comfortable, with air conditioning, TV with large screen, netflix and a private bathroom. Everything was perfect, very neat and very clean. To finish, the best of all: the great kindness of Deise and her family. I felt at home. The family leaves people at ease, respecting our privacy, but also proves to be available, whenever requested. I loved and recommend this house, where I was extremely well received. Many thanks for everything! Ah!!! And I already forgot!!! How to forget something like this??? Deise makes crying cakes for more!!! A delight!!! And her generosity is so great that she shares the recipes with her guests! Love it! Thank you!
