Small cottage/ guest house

Cozy little cottage in the countryside. There are horse pastures and the forest around the knot and with a 10-minute walk you are out on Biskops-Arnö. There are docks, swimming area, exercise loops, a 600 year old oak and much more! Bålsta can be reached by car in 15 minutes and Stockholm at 50. It is recommended to come by car. The cabin has a kitchen and sleeping loft. On the loft there is a 120 cm bed and a 90 cm mattress. The toilet and shower are in the same building, the shower is shared with us who live in the square (if we are home).

The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with a swimming area, about 100 meters away. On the property, there is a dog and during summertime there are sheep.

Small cozy guest house on a lush plot. 400 m from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim by a jetty or small beach in the summer and skate in the winter. Close to beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cabin has one room and bathroom. It has a small, but full kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a fold-up guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom there is washing machine, shower and WC. Sheets and towels are included.

Everyone who stayed in the house agreed that this was a great place to stay. Beautiful nature, animals nearby and fresh air. One of the guests is seriously thinking to book the accommodation for herself because it gave her such peace of mind. In some form, we will be happy to return on more occasions. Beautiful little cabin surrounded by nature. Very dear hosts and great dogs (but they were only allowed to come to us after consultation. So if you're afraid of dogs, you won't be bothered). We would come back.

We had an awesome time in Sigtuna! We used the Captain’s Cabin as a base to visit Stockholm, Skansen, Uppsala, Marienfred and Skokloster. We used the available bikes which was great. We also used the garden, perfect for breakfast on a sunny day. The bed is a comfortable one, which is important of course. We had a great time! This Airbnb is highly recommended! The hosts are very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Frederik's! 😊 The vacation home is idyllic and quiet in the countryside, just minutes from Uppsala – perfect for unwinding and at the same time being quickly in the city. The house was immaculately clean and well equipped, ideal for our family of four with two small children. We felt right at home! Frederik was always available and very helpful – a great host. We highly recommend this house!
