Apartment vacation rentals in Vico Equense

I knew very little about Vico Equense before visiting but fell completely in love with the place and wanted to live there! A village feel but with everything a town has to offer and I don’t think I have met more lovely people anywhere. I had read the reviews about Amedeo and he was just as described – the perfect host in every way. He helped with everything and replied to any questions right away - we felt so looked after. And now the apartment – book it, you will not be disappointed. Spotlessly clean, super modern and with everything you need but with back drop of being in an old Italian building and along cobbled streets. The balcony was my ‘go to’ place – so lovely to sit there at any time of the day and look out to sea and Vesuvius and always something going on. Five stars is just not enough stars to give to the combination of Vico Equense and the apartment and Amedeo. I would recommend without hesitation. Thank you Amedeo and we will definitely be back.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Everything from start to finish was just perfect! The apartment is located near the town center and is within walking distance from several amazing restaurants, the beach, the bus stop, and amazing shops including a grocery store. It also has the most beautiful view! Anna was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and during. She organized car transportation, dinner reservations, as well as a chef dinner hosted at the apartment, with several courses that were all family recipes and unique to the area of Praiano. This experience was worth every single penny! We really fell in love with Praiano. So many restaurants with the best food and very kind people, with zero crowd from the surrounding areas. We cannot wait to come back someday!

Fefé was absolutely amazing! She was the best host you can ask for, communication was so on point. She gave me the best recommendations for all the places. Her place was spotless. Super super safe and secure as well! Very minimal steps to get to her place. My only call out would be it can get a little loud at night as her place is right above the port and a bar but Fefé has you covered with complimentary ear plugs. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Beau logement dans un petit village tranquille avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. Nous sommes à environ 30 minutes de Positano et Amalfi en transport en commun. À quelques pas de la randonnée du Sentier des Dieux… Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et réactifs aux demandes.

This stay was one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. Mostly because we fell in love with Praiano and the pool and view of this place is unmatched. Roberta was so helpful in booking a sunset cruise with transport, dinner recs and so much more. I will dream of this stay for a very long time.

Giuseppe var helt vildt hjælpsom. Han tjekkede op på om alt var som det skulle være, og var super hurtig til at hjælpe med forespørgsler. Super god vært. Området var skønt, og ret let at finde rundt i. Og så lå lejligheden meget tæt på stationen, så det var simpelt at komme til og fra Vico Equense. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt ophold.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Tonino’s place in Piano di Sorrento. The location is just astounding…the sunsets over the marina are just beautiful! The apartment had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and had loads of space for our family of five. We enjoyed eating out at some of the lovely local restaurants as well as eating in (and use of the washing machine was much appreciated!). Travel to the local area / sights was easy by train (Sorrento and Pompeii) and by water (day trip to Capri). I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to this area, and 100% think it is a better location for a relaxing break than Sorrento town. Only slight negative on the area - the water at the beach/shoreline was not quite as clean as it could have been (some floating rubbish) but was fine when swimming a bit deeper (was perhaps temporary, I don’t know). But the apartment itself was wonderful and as I say I would highly recommend! Thanks Tonino for a lovely stay!

Appartement trés agréable trés propre trés calme avec grande terrasse vue mer, citroniers et église. Anna et Antonio sont trés sympas et serviables. A recommander sans hésitation ! Seul bémol : la compagnie Be-it conseillée pour les excursions prend les touristes pour des imbéciles. Nous nous sommes fait délester de 89 € par personne car ils ne nous ont pas envoyés l'adresse du départ et aucun remboursement ou report n'a été possible ! Eviter donc Be-IT !

Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt! In der Wohnung ist alles zu finden, was man benötigt. Insbesondere der tolle Ausblick von der Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die Amalfiküste und die umliegenden Städte zu erkunden. Der Check in und Check out mit Cristina war super unkompliziert und sie war immer für uns erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

A fantastic location in Vico Equense. Five minute walk from the train and views over Vesuvius and Bay of Naples. Sofa bed was great for two people and 2nd bathroom was a welcome treat. Everything provided that you need when self catering including plastic tubs for our homemade sandwiches. Really glad we stayed here as had plenty of space for four of us and was really handy for the train into Sorrento and up to Pompeii. Laura is a very responsive host and was keen to check that everything g was ok for us. If visiting the area I highly recommend as Vico is less touristy than Sorrento yet 15 minute train ride and you are there.

The home looked exactly like the photos, but the view was even more breathtaking in person. We spent so much time on the rooftop patio, taking in the incredible cityscape—and we were lucky enough to catch fireworks almost every night! The location was also super convenient. It’s just a quick 10-minute taxi ride to lots of great restaurants, and getting a taxi is really easy. Just walk out of the property, take a left, and you’ll see several taxis waiting straight ahead. The only suggestion we have is to provide an extra key to the front door. There was only one, which made it a bit tricky when our group wanted to split up during the day—we had to get creative with coordinating access. Overall, it was a fantastic 3 night stay and we’d absolutely come back!

We have had a wonderful stay the apartment was amazing loved all the all the vintage decor. It smelled amazing ,had everything you would need. Beds very comfortable. The patio and watching the sunset every night was very special don’t think you could get a better view in a 5star hotel. Also feel we got to see the real authentic Italy in this lovely little village, thank you Luca

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Close enough to Positano to easily enjoy everything the town has to offer, while being tucked away just enough to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet. The views from the property are simply stunning, and there are fantastic local restaurants and bars within easy reach. What truly made our stay exceptional were the hosts. They greeted us personally at check-in, made us feel completely at home, and had the room fully stocked with thoughtful touches like snacks, water, wine, and juices. Roberto went above and beyond throughout our stay - from helping us arrange transportation to organizing a taxi back to Naples when we were having phone issues. Whatever we needed, they were there for us. The room was cleaned daily, and when we needed laundry done, they took care of that too. It was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had.

This home was beautiful and lived up to our expectations. Soon as we arrived we felt at home. Annalisa was helpful throughout the entire of our stay and answering any questions. The home is around a 10 minute walk into the strip of Naples, where we found many cafes and restaurants. Transport was reachable on foot. We will definitely be returning in the future!

I had the absolute best stay at Luca & Paola’s place. It’s a beautiful mosaic art piece that Luca the artist created. It’s the most artistic gem I’ve ever stayed at! It’s a slice of heaven! Seriously, you don’t t ever have to leave it’s so beautiful!! Paola & Luca make an incredible breakfast, the best eggs and cappuccino I’ve ever had. And the best part is Paola and Luca. They are 100% the best hosts I’ve ever had at any place I’ve ever stayed at. I miss them already!!

Beautiful place. We felt at home for 6 days and use our car to go to several close towns along the Amalfi Coast. You'll need a car to fully enjoy the area but given that, its as a good of value youll find on AirBnB. Thank you Carmen and Selena for great communication, welcome basket, and clear instructions. Our family had a great time.

Serena's place is better than the pictures. If you want somewhere to relax off the beaten path on the Almalfi Coast this is the place. Serena is amazing and so helpful with recommendations and ideas for transportation. Serena's dad picked us up and took us back to the ferry terminal as well as the mini market so we didn't have to walk up the hill. We would definitely stay here again.

A great place for cheaper than staying in sorrento. About a 10-12 min walk from the train station and is not up hill at all! Then it is about a dollar per ride to sorrento which takes less than 5 minutes once you are on the train. The place was super clean, cute, and had a nice balcony that we hung out on. Would stay again!

Die Wohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Der neapolitanische Straßenberkehr braucht ein bisschen gewöhnen, ist aber gut zu händeln, wenn man kein großes Auto hat . Der öffentliche Nahverkehr ist ähnlich wie der in München - ein Abenteuer, aber wen man fragt oder trifft alle waren super hilfreich und nett. Neben Pompeji gibt es viele kleinere Ausgrabungen, eine direkt hinter dem Haus, die wir noch besser fanden.

Great apartment overall. Amazing location - safe and 5 minute walk to the main square of Sorrento. But just removed enough yo be totally quiet at night so no disruption sleeping. Very spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen, comfortable for our family of 3 and easily for up to 5-6 people. Host was responsive and met us outside to guide us in, gave us local recommendations, and was always responsive. Would definitely stay again. Only small con was that one of the showers is very small and the twin mattresses are firm and not super comfortable. Still loved my stay overall.

Anita was a great host and provided fantastic recommendations for our trip. She was extremely responsive leading up to and during our stay. We traveled with 2 infants and the space was large enough to comfortably accommodate our group. The house was spotless and Anita kindly greeted us upon arrival. The stairs were very difficult (especially from the marina) so we quickly utilized the local bus to get around town. For dinners in we found the nearby market and restaurant very convenient. Thank you Anita for a wonderful stay! We hope to return in the future.
