Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vicksburg

The Mississippi Belle is truly the gem of Vicksburg! The host has truly thought of every little detail to make your stay of the highest quality. When we arrived, there were flowers waiting on the kitchen island and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the amenities to cook and enjoy a morning coffee. The house is immaculately clean and the attention to detail in the bedrooms is unparalleled. There are table fans in each bedroom as well as the finest linens to help you get the best sleep possible. You will feel relaxed and refreshed after a fantastic night’s sleep. The sheriff station is located directly next door in the historical Civil War jail so we felt safe at all times and were able to really enjoy the grounds of the home. Sunsets on the front porch are exceptional and the rocking chairs and blue porch ceiling truly take you back in time to the Old South. If you are looking for the perfect southern mansion to enjoy the rich history of Vicksburg, then this is the place to stay!

All the reviews are correct. This is a great place to say. Well equipped kitchen for those who want/like to cook. We had a heating issue (completely our fault) and I contacted Jacqueline about it. She was able to take care of it remotely in no time. She followed up with a message through the app and the called me a day later to make sure everything was still ok. This really is a nice place to stay with an even nicer host. Would definitely stay again.

We will definitely be back. Eagle Lake is one of our favorite places to visit and this is definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed there!

This being the first Air B&B I’ve booked myself and for the reasons I needed, this place was perfect! James made us feel at home away from home!

Overall the place was perfect for our visit. The surroundings were AMAZING and peaceful including the pond and pool. We felt right at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and extras. We would definitely return to this location to fully use the amenities and we appreciate you sharing your place with us.

Staying at Leah’s Guesthouse was like coming home. The Guesthouse was beautifully decorated and the bed and furniture were very comfortable. Sitting on the rockers on the front porch was peaceful and relaxing. The location of the Guesthouse was perfect for us to visit Vicksburg and explore family history at Raymond’s Court House and City Cemetery.

We had a great one week stay! The apartment (unit 10) was as advertised, with no surprises. The building has a handful of units, all with a refurbished warehouse vibe. There is a hip Willie Dixon (blue’s master) theming throughout. There are stairs in the front (one floor, spiral staircase) and back to the rear parking (two floors). Not a problem for us, but something to bear in mind if you have accessibility issues. Clean unit, good water pressure, water temperature, functional kitchen, etc. … everything you want and expect. No complains, really. There are multiple shared porches (front and back) that we used most nights, chatting with other tenets for hours each night. This can be a more “social” Airbnb location if you choose to engage in it. Access to local restaurants and museums is a big benefit… we left our car behind on multiple days to walk the town of Natchez. Be sure to visit the mural on the levees just a couple of blocks from this apartment. Would stay here again!
