Cottage in a quiet location in the terraced village of Vickleby on southern Öland. The cottage is 26 m2 with a sleeping loft of 10 m2, surrounded by a beautiful garden, built with different rooms separated by trellised pear trees and full of other fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. Vickleby is located in the World Heritage Site of Southern Öland's Agricultural Landscape, on the edge of Stora Alvaret, with its unique flora and two km away from the sea with swimming or windsurfing at Haga Park, or bird watching at Beijershamn. Five minutes walk to Capellagården.

Fresh cottage with air heat pump for heating/cooling near Beijershamn Nature Reserve, Vickleby noble deciduous forest, Haga Park swimming area and Öland's herb garden. Close to much of what makes Öland unique. Fully equipped kitchen, toilet, shower, TV and WiFi, bedroom with double bed 160 cm. On the property, there are two cottages, one of which is occupied by us, the owners. The cottage we rent is best suited for two, but there are four beds with sofa bed (140 cm) in the living room and double bed (160 cm) in the bedroom. Bed linens/towels can be rented.

Welcome to the beautiful village street in Vickleby. In the middle of the World Heritage Site, Southern Öland's Agricultural Landscape, right next to Stora Alvaret. A stone's throw from Capellagården with a beautiful garden, cultural environment and exhibitions. The apartment is located in an old shop that also houses our own home. The apartment has its own entrance on the north side of the house. There are children in the house and everyday sounds from the host family may occur. Bicycles are available to borrow. Cleaning is not included in the rent.

Here you live in a house with history, where the old details are still there. It's a genuine Öland farmhouse, not a newly built vacation home, and that's part of the charm. The courtyard house has a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a private garden. You live in the middle of the Öland cultural landscape, close to swimming areas, Haga Park and nice hiking trails.

The bedroom has a double bed. Travel bed for a child is extra. High chair available. Sheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases are provided, but you must bring your own hand towels. Sauna for a surcharge. Note: Stairs up to apartment. Toilet/shower/sauna is downstairs, you need to go out and down the stairs and walk along the garage to get there.

Charming little house in Vickleby

Vickleby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The well-preserved and picturesque village street is an attraction and is counted as one of the finest on Öland. The designer Carl Malmsten founded his school Capellagården in Vickley with an artistic focus. The facility is open to visitors and one of Öland's most visited tourist destinations. There is a café and a shop with nice handicraft products and home-grown plants for sale. Vicklebyalvaret attracts many flower lovers. In May, a sea of orchids spreads out.
