Friendly Host. Very receptive to pets. Our dog played a lot with their dogs. Very quiet. Walk distance to the pretty Lagoa Porto Covo.

Fantastic place, so very well equipped and great location. We loved it here and would love to stay again. We had a problem with the boiler when we arrived and Marta was quick To get it working again. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

We loved the house very much, we believe it is great for both a group of friends and family. The house had plenty of games to choose from. As far as the hostess is concerned, she is very friendly and has always been shown to be available.

We had an amazing family stay in the Casa. Lourenço was available to answer any of our questions at all times. From beach recommendations, to restaurants, and shops and golf, he helped us make the absolute most of our stay. The house itself is simply a remarkable space for family, with cosy spaces for groups to eat together or if you want to find some time alone too. Highly highly recommend, we will return.

We stayed a week in Ana's house and quite enjoyed it. The weather was not the best, but the house has all the comforts of home so we cooked dinner and watched Netflix while the rain was pouring down. Having a proper kitchen with a dishwasher available is great on evenings like that! On sunny and warm days, the terrace is a treat. The house is in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood, ordinary people live around there and the folks next door have a few curious goats. There are good restaurants within walking distance, our favorite is Casa da Joana. One of the official paths passes through the same street as the house, very nice walk that takes you past the same Joana's. Perfect for lunch. You need a car. Then all the walks, Viana do Castelo, Braga, Ponte de Lima etc are within easy driving range. If you are used to the softer Scandinavian beds, you may find the queen size bed rather firm.

Immaculate, well equipped,spacious single story house with secure parking. Garden room / dining room overlooked spacious patio, garden and heated swimming pool. Beach and restaurants about a mile away at Amorosa. Gabriel provided an excellent welcome pack of wine, milk, bread, butter etc. (and a bag of lemons the following day. ) He responded quickly to any questions and was flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay.

Lurdes' home is great for a family getaway and with children. His house is spacious and has a swimming pool, even for children. In addition, it is well located, close to small villages that are worth visiting. Lurdes was a caring host and her house was spotless. We recommend it 100%, we were very comfortable there.

Had a fantastic week at Cabedelo beach. Apartment was comfortable and very well equipped. Communication with Hugo was excellent- a great host. We made good use of the pool and beach and used the ferry boat to go into town. Aquario and Foz restaurants were both very good and only a couple of minutes walk away. We also liked the north club beach bar for a sunset drink. Loved that the area is not super touristy and a great base to explore northern Portugal.

We had a great time at Vitor's place. The garden was particularly nice, we were even able to enjoy the pool which was very well maintained. Our dogs loved the garden which offered a superb area! The interior of the house is true to the photos, allows each traveler to maintain their privacy and the linens were clean. Host was very responsive. We will be back!

We had a great stay from start to finish. We were super well received, Cristina was spectacular, always attentive. The space is spotless, the house spacious, a phenomenal outdoor space and a large swimming pool. We intend to return.

Roland is an amazing host, friendly, attentive, accommodating and helpful. His place is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. the gardens are stunning and you have full access to the gardens and pools. would highly recommend!

We spent a family weekend, 9 people and two dogs, the stay was magnificent, the house was perfect! There was nothing missing, everything was there, the beds were very comfortable, the garden with its fantastic pool was a delight since the weather was good, José offered us fruit from his organic garden, a great guy who was attentive to any need or suggestion we had. We stayed at this beautiful house for over 2 weeks during a sports competition. Sandra was an absolutely wonderful host. Starting from the planning, during our stay, and even beyond such as forwarding packages which arrived late. More like a helpful friend than just a wonderful host. The house is perfectly located. Peaceful and quiet, and at the same time right in the center of the town. Everything is walkable, while we also always found a parking spot for our rental car. When we had to leave it felt more like leaving home. We highly recommend this property if you’re visiting Viana do Castelo and don’t forget to ask Sandra for her great restaurant recommendations!!

Susana and her family are perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic week with our grown up and teenage sons there. The villa and outside areas are extremely spacious and so clean. With older children, this extra space was invaluable. There was even a ping pong table to keep the boys busy too! It is so well equipped overall and the outside BBQ is great. The local area is so beautiful and we used a great local surf school in the mornings. The beach is very accessible and it was good to have off street parking in the villa, as the beach is a popular local attraction so the there lots of visitors to the area during the day. But this just makes the beach more vibrant and interesting. We made full use of all the restaurants and the small local shop, where we ordered daily bread and picked up essentials. A big thank you to Susana for being so helpful and flexible throughout the week. We would highly recommend a anyone to book this holiday home.

The apartment is very spacious, several balconies and roof terrace with a fantastic view of Viana, the Atlantic Ocean and the bay of the Rio Lima are super great. The rooms are spacious and the apartment is very well appointed, nothing is missing. We felt very comfortable and explored the beautiful town of Viana do Castello with its wide sandy beaches.

We loved staying in Quinta dos Carvalhos!!! It is a beautiful place and the perfect base to discover the area. Lots of greats trips around. Luis is a great host, really helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to coming back in the future

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The beach is 2 minutes walk, there is a very pleasant wooden board walk through the pine forest and we were able to rent bikes at the feelviana hotel 3 minutes walk. The residence has convenient secured covered parking. We were able to have lunch or dinner sometimes at the apartment or test the surrounding restaurants (caffe foz, aquario or duotonecenter rooftop on the beach), no disappointment!! The only downside is our arrival because the apartment is difficult to locate but our hosts quickly oriented us and I thank their responsiveness. Indeed, the GPS point offered on the Airbnb app leads to the foz sports club. Don't aim at this point. Put the caffe foz on your GPS. The residence is in the 2nd line from the road so you have to walk under the porch to the left of the foz caffe and take the ramp to the red and white building. We will come again!!!

A wonderful stay in a very spacious house. Outside bbq area great for recreation, Rosa, the host is gracious and gave us enough privacy. The description of facilities is accurate. I especially loved the short walk down to the beach.
