What a truly perfect little spot! Wow. My husband and I were en route from Joburg back home to Harare and wanted a final peaceful retreat in the mountains. Wow, did we get it! Gail kindly upgraded us to Mandara’s cabin. We lovely waking up to young red duikers playing just outside the cabin, got to see a banded mongoose and have a lovely time watching birds whilst bathing al fresco. Such lovely personal touches - loved the sweet note and thoroughly enjoyed reading about the local wildlife in the guidebook. We very much hope to be back soon.

Teresa's home deserves 6 stars! That it's nice to live in his house, very well furnished, with a magnificent view of the river and the surrounding nature. Teresa is a very friendly person. In short, a favorite place! The house is quite secluded from the city, be careful to take all necessary supplies.

From the day i checked in i felt right at home. The place was pleasant and comfortable. Gave off a warmth that made it feel like home away from home. The host is always available for any assistant needed. The daily upkeep and cleaning also gave off a nice feeling to retire to after a hectic day from work. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone, especially travelling for work and fo longer stays. That was the most peaceful and comfortable 11 days away from my home ive ever had.
