We have been there for the third year in a row and feel very comfortable every time. The house is great even with children, it is totally central and you have everything you need. Hans and Lene are great hosts and are always making every effort to ensure that you have a pleasant stay in their home. We will be happy to come back!

The place was just great! The apartment was beautifully and very tastefully decorated – you immediately notice that a lot of love for detail was put into the work here. We particularly liked the quiet location, which allowed us to really relax and enjoy the Danish hospitality. We can only highly recommend this property and would come back again anytime!

This summerhouse really stands out from many of the soulless checkbox ticking summerhouses. This one makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Lasse's lovely summerhouse. We were 2 adults and 2 kids 7 years old - the place was perfect for all of us. The house has a cozy and homely decor and we immediately felt very comfortable. We enjoyed both the house inside and also spent a lot of time on the terrace, where we could look at beautiful nature and hear the bird whistle. It's easy to get to Nordby, where we found good eateries. We can definitely recommend the house to others and would love to come back again ourselves.

Such a great getaway spot! Had a great time staying here. The place is super cozy and has a really calm, peaceful vibe, perfect for unplugging for a bit. One of the highlights was definitely the Nordic bath, nothing beats a hot soak under the stars. Also loved being just a short walk from the beach. The house itself is stylish and comfy, with everything you need. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the little details. The host was lovely and made everything easy from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill escape close to nature!

3 wonderful days with my family in beautiful and quiet surroundings. Day trips by car to Silkeborg and Aarhus, where we took a route on Himmelbjerget and visited Aros. Cozy mornings and evenings in the lovely countryside home with games, tea, and candles. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try the wilderness bath, which was right out on the terrace.

Beautiful place to stay a few steps away from the beach. We had super relaxing days with our dog.

We have now been to the Hühnerhaus for the third time, because it is simply fantastic, offers everything and we always feel very comfortable and welcome. The place is a dream, quiet, cozy, super easy check-in and fresh milk from the cows in the fridge. The sauna completes the carefree package. The children go to the farm all by themselves and are very happy to play with the dog and to be involved in the work on the farm, such as milking or feeding calves. So a clear recommendation!

Had a lovely few days in this beautiful old cottage. A perfect base to explore the island. Love the patio and gazebo for outdoor dining in the sunshine!

An older cottage home, with a lovely view and very short walking distance to the water. Everything worked as it should be inside the house. Lovely quiet place with lots of nice nature right outside the door.

It was a nice short vacation in a modern vacation home on a beautiful and quiet natural property. The house has everything necessary to enjoy a nice vacation. Dealing with the landlady Esther was very friendly and honest. The two of us and the dog will be happy to come back.

The house was easy to find, tucked away in a private quiet corner with a beautiful sweeping driveway and circular graveled area to approach the house. Mature plants and a lawn… it felt like coming home to my childhood sanctuary and parent’s well cared for home. So perfect. Inside Steffen left essentials for the night (toilet roll, soap, washing up liquid and dishcloths etc) so all we needed to buy from the nearby shops (walking distance) was coffee and tea. He even thoughtfully left us a few coffee filters. The rooms were immaculate. White sheets and towels. Good quality blinds and curtains so we could sleep well and a feeling of complete safety and peace. Two lounges, a big desk (we used for puzzles) and a stunning dining room in-front of panoramic windows, not to mention the outside seating zones and the kitchen all allowed everyone to spread out and find their spots to relax. We took a brief stroll along the beach and pier, photos as the sun went down in the garden. Fab!

Jon's place was absolutely idyllic and homely. From the living-dining room you can look directly at a meadow with wonderful Icelanders. The atmosphere of the rooms has invited you to linger and guarantee a cozy evening. We would come back.

We have been on vacation through airbnb many times, but this was the most amazing place of all. A nice house with very nice garden, with large trampoline, hammocks and several places to sit. With a few minutes walk you are on a kind of private beach, where you can swim and especially have a beautiful view. You can also walk to the port from there. Peace seekers who are not fond of luxury will definitely enjoy themselves here.

We had a wonderful week in Martin's cozy child-friendly cottage. Especially great were the large garden with swing and treehouse and the proximity of the beach. In addition, the garden around the house offers plenty of space and tranquility. There was nothing missing in the house, even a waffle iron was there.

Great place and house. Lived up to our expectations. Lovely walking distance to beach and rocks. Lovely place if you just need to pull the plug, and such a nice retro style. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Mette's summerhouse for 11 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was a home from home situated very close to the beach. We enjoyed lovely walks in the local area and also ventured farther afield. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for some peace and quiet.

House renovated and furnished with great care. A little bit of a retreat from the pretty beach, very quiet. Responsive and welcoming host. Very nice.

We had a beautiful stay. The ideal base for our excursions. We went to Lego House, Lego Land, Jelling (viking museum), vadehavscentret (mando and koresand), Vejle, Trelde Naes, Ribe, Esbjerg,... And after every trip, the kids still had energy to play on the trampoline in the evening. They enjoyed the garden, where we also saw a squirrel, or a deer while walking nearby. The cottage is located in the woods, with several similar cottages, you have the feeling that you are in the Ardennes. It is very quiet there with the necessary privacy. Because the garden is around you have a lot of sun, only in the evening it quickly disappears behind the tall trees. The cottage is very well equipped, clean bathroom, neat kitchen, garden furniture and pillows. Glad that the bedding and bath linen are included and that the beds are already made. Upon arrival, there is a welcome package itself, which will make you feel at home quickly.

Just a short walk from an uncrowded beach, this charming vacation home offers the perfect balance of tranquility and luxury, making it an unforgettable getaway. The spacious open floor plan makes it comfortable for relaxing with the living area bathed in natural light. Large windows offer stunning views of the lush backyard and the surrounding greenery. Every corner of the house exudes warmth and charm, making it feel like a true home away from home. Last but not least is the expansive backyard. It's a private oasis, surrounded by blooming flowers providing a perfect blend of shade and sunshine. Whether you're lounging with a good book, playing games on the grass, or enjoying a meal al fresco, the backyard is a versatile space that invites you to unwind and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We had an amazing time and highly recommend!!

Super little cottage - we were two couples for an extended weekend. It seemed perfect. There was everything we needed, well-equipped kitchen and cozy decor - everything neat, tidy, well-maintained and tasteful.
