Loved the location of the house right on Lake Ontario and the mouth of the Salmon River! Views were absolutely stunning! Felt like fishing paradise as the house was themed around the Salmon River and fishing. Great kitchen and plenty of space for guests. Everything was clean and perfectly situated. Can’t beat fishing right out back in the Salmon River estuary. Would definitely stay here again!

The lodge location was wonderful for a quiet family vacation - close to Old Forge but away from the busy tourist areas. The location is superior - private lake, woods, limited/zero neighbors, and beautiful views. Our children loved the beach and jumping off the dock. We brought kayaks and enjoyed the peace and wildlife of the motor-free lake. The cabin is rustic, yet well stocked with all of the necessities and even has central air conditioning, which was very much appreciated for the first half of our week. The kitchen had everything required for preparing and serving our food. There were lots of towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. Lots of board games. We did lose power (and water) for a long period of time during one day of our stay which required a trip into town to purchase gallons of water - but this was not the fault of the host. It added to the experience.

The view is absolutely breathtaking. This is our second year returning to this location and we had such a great time from kayaking, paddle boarding, volleyball, utilizing the outdoor kitchen, having a fire, swimming to docking our boat. Daniel is an amazing host that is very responsive. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Echo Lake had become a very special trip for my family. We appreciate that the kitchen stuff is as nice as our stuff at home! No internet this time, but we didn't have any trouble using a hot spot. It was great to have a safe vacation during all this. Thanks again, we can't wait to come back

This is our second year returning to this townhouse. The location is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We truly enjoy the volleyball, paddle boards, kayaks, ability to dock our boat and an area for our kiddos to just run free. Daniel is extremely responsive and an amazing host. We are super excited to return again next year!

Watching the sunset from the shore of the lake next door was a delightful bonus. Wendy is an attentive and thoughtful host. Our stay was everything we could have wanted. We stayed with Daniel & Renata over the 4th of July. It was such a great time. The property is right on the water. We docked our boat there. They had kayaks and a swim platform and a volleyball net set up. We used the grill one night. The fireplace another night. The place was clean and we were all able to fit comfortably. We were even able to check in early. The communication was quick and easy - one night there was rain forecasted and we asked if we could shelter our motorcycle in the game room and within a minute we got a response that it would be ok! Fabulous hosts and a great property. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Cozy little cabin! Richard was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. The kayaks and tennis court were big perks to the place. It’s a quick drive to the main street area where we shopped and enjoyed the views of the lake. Highly recommend!
