Where to start in an attempt to describe paradise. All that's being said by others about Alto Bonito and Martin and the loveliest animals is true. I've never experienced such a great and generous host, lovely energy, total comfort and miraculous views. All in Alto Bonito is exactly how it should be, with all the love and attention that's being put in it by constructing it, maintaining it and living it. In the cabin you can experience total privacy, cozyness (which seems rare in Colombia), maximum comfort, stunning views and complete silence. You can enjoy it with others or alone, as I did. And within the borders of the finca itself you can hike and enjoy the nature and views. Martin and the dogs are enthusiastic to show you the way. It's easy to feel at home and difficult to leave again once you're being welcomed in Alto Bonito.

I will definitely return, the house is beautiful, and the landscape left me speechless, a very quiet place to rest and share with family. No noise of any kind, it is very cozy, the house has spaces to enjoy them, we never left the estate as we had everything we needed, and Carolina was always attentive to us. The House has everything you need in very good condition, the mattresses, blankets and kitchen utensils, it is very well equipped in every aspect.

We had a lovely stay at Monica's, she was a great host always smiling, always happy to help. Our Spanish is not very good but we managed to communicate with eachother just fine. The space that they offer is pristine and kept really clean at all times. Monica has the facility to wash your clothes, so that was an added bonus. There is a beautiful garden space to relax and read or do some light stretches. Filtered drinking water was always available. Salamina itself is a cute little town with a few nice cafes and restaurants, particularly Cafe Calicanto. It also has some interesting spots close-by for a day visit e.g. coffee fincas, st Felix - wax palms valley. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Salamina and we will definitely be recommending to others.

Very good, I recommend it. The ideal breakfast to start the day.

The best option to stay in Marulanda. In this accommodation I found a magical place from where I could see the most beautiful mountain landscape I have ever seen. Mauricio is an excellent host, thank you for sharing your knowledge about the town and its culture and recommending the experience I had with the sheep. I'll visit you again with my family.
