Family weekend successful thanks to this ideally located accommodation and adequate kindness. I recommend it.

We were there as a family with 5 people and a dog for a week and we enjoyed it very much. A particularly charming little house, very cozy, great beds, everything you need, very well located for hikes and excursions and a very nice hostess!

Christophe was warm and hospitable, meeting us both and check-in and check-out, sharing tips and information about the region and giving a walkthrough of the place. We very much enjoyed our stay and took advantage of the hot tub after long days out. I would certainly recommend it for travelers who are on the move during the day and looking for a quiet place to rest for the night.

Joao and his wife are very welcoming. We really enjoyed the space and the outdoors. We had a great time.

Great location within the town, well equipped and spacious house. Parking and a garage for bikes. Jacques was a fantastic, friendly and helpful host who gave us lots of tips. A great place particularly for those who love hiking and cycling in the mountains. No hesitation in recommending.

We had a great time with the family at Chloe's! The setting is splendid, and between the nearby lake walk and skiing a 35-minute drive everyone found their delight. In addition, there is everything you need in the village. Chloe is very friendly and discreet because we forgot her presence while she lives upstairs and the entrance is in common 😊

Amazing house, area and host! The house was just beautiful, new, and had every little thing we could imagine. Great kitchen, loved cooking there. Perfect stay.

Excellent stay at Melanie's. Exceptional environment conducive to disconnecting. Cozy and perfectly equipped chalet. A terrace with magnificent views of the mountains. We recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay! The chalet was warm, comfortable, and exactly as described. The bath was a luxurious touch, and the well-equipped kitchen (with a great coffee machine) made self-catering easy. Plenty of storage, including good ski storage. The steep stairs are worth noting for those with mobility issues or younger children, but not an issue for us. 200m to the nearest blue slope (which can be icy), and a 10–20 min uphill walk to town. One of the absolute highlights was the incredible views and surroundings- truly breathtaking and made the stay even more special. Overall, we had a really enjoyable time and would absolutely recommend this chalet to others!

Sophie was very considerate and welcoming. The accommodation is impeccable and warm. In the center of Villar-d'Arène, you can easily reach hiking trails. In the accommodation, there are also many recommendations for activities and stories about the area. Thanks again Sophie 😊

We had a great time, the apartment is perfectly located, close to shops and slopes! It is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bedding is comfortable and the accommodation is well-equipped. Warm and very professional welcome by Jordane which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this listing.

We had a wonderful time in this secluded place in the middle of the mountain. Quiet and peaceful place with many walks from the cottage. Theo was a particularly welcoming and helpful host during our stay. We highly recommend this chalet for hiking and mountain lovers!

We had a great time at the accommodation. We were sorry to have to go home again. A lovely quiet place with beautiful mountain views from the large backyard. The home was very neat and, in our opinion, as good as new. It was very clean and equipped with every comfort. The beds lay well. Should we ever want to return to this area, we would love to return here.

This place is truly a haven of peace. The garden offers magnificent views of the Alps. The house and surroundings are charming, with plenty of walking and biking trails in the area. Aurore and Guenael made us feel at home right away and were very communicative and helpful.

Sue is the best host ive experienced on airbnb! She was more than flexible and helpful and the place was beautiul, clean, comfortable and had a stunning view! Sue responded quickly and helped us even in to the late hours of the night. She also invited us to check out later than usual which is unusual but so so appreciated. Very nice place to stay. Furnishings tip top. Location is quiet. You can stay outside very well and hike from the house. Within a 15-minute drive, there are many more hikes. The host gives recommendations. Sylvain is super friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to come back.

Unforgettable living room! The cottage is at the end of a road, with a splendid view of the mountains, very comfortable and pleasant with its wood stove, nicely decorated, you feel instantly good there and after a few days the soothing that this place brings is very powerful! Beautiful walks from the chalet (including snowshoes, even if you had to climb 400 m to put them on following a big thaw). The proximity to Saint-Jean de Maurienne 15 minutes away is super convenient, and is well worth the murmur of the valley. Beautiful place in a small, peaceful rural village on the mountain. A few minutes walk and you get to a fantastic spot for the sunset. Best part of our trip. Clean, renovated apartment. Visits by a local dog and cat for cuddles as an additional service.

It was a perfect mountain experience in Parc des Ecrins. If you love the outdoors, hiking, mountaineering, and rugged natural environments, this is the place. The nearby farm produces all types of delicious sheep cheese. Leave the city and immerse yourself in nature.

We had a wonderful time with a super nice view! Location is good walking distance to the restaurants and the lake. Lots to do on and next to the lake. Apartment was neat and everything was present. Only the bathroom was very small. Shower in bathtub and had to hold the shower head by hand because there was no suspension option. That was really a minus point for us. For the rest, highly recommended.
