Summer dream close to Hultsfred and Vimmerby

A classic cottage with a lot of culture and tradition feel added with a modern kitchen and bathroom area. Amazing location in the middle of the Småland field and hagmark. The cottage is connected to the village of Sönnerhult but in a private location so you can only see the village in the way. Suitable for everyone in a village that has everything from Astrid Lindgren's world to excursions in Hultsfreds Festival tracks. Nearby there is moose park, swimming areas, summer cafes, adventure park, Emil in Lönnebergas Katthult and farm shops.

With only 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world, there is the chance to enjoy and enjoy in an incredibly lovely peaceful environment. Modern cottage with large fenced plot where both children and dogs can run freely, private bathing country with sandy bottom, wood-fired sauna, rowing boat, canoe and a bunch of sun loungers to enjoy in! Since there are two cabins on the property and also place to set up a camper or caravan, it is is absolutely perfect for several families to rent at the same time.

18th century Twin Cottage

The Twin Cottage from the 18th century is situated in a small hamlet with grazing animals and foot paths in the surrounding forest and fields. We have 45 km to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren’s world. The area of ‘Bråbygden’ is known for it rich flora and well kept fields. Bråhultesjön, 6 km from us, is a nice lake for bathing. Twin Cottage is like old times attatched house. We live in one part of the house and you rent the other. The garden is a fine place to enjoy evenings. Warmly welcome!

The cozy and modern renovated house is located a few kilometers in the forest away from the district roads. Therefore, it is absolutely quiet and you can enjoy nature without disturbing civilization noises. When it's windy, you can hear the trees rustling, and when it's calm, you can hear the mill stream splashing. The house has access to a quiet and private jetty with a rowing boat and fireplace. For a family of four, there is plenty of space to retreat. It was especially nice - in good weather - to enjoy breakfast or dinner on the terrace under the awning. The two separate toilets and the washing machine were very advantageous. Elke and Matthias are very nice, gave us some excursion tips and are very pleasant landlords. It was definitely not our last visit to you.

We had a wonderful week with Michael and Therese in Nydal. The house is just amazing! Especially the huge window front with the great view of the private jetty with rowing boat inspired us every morning! The amenities are great, it has everything you need for a great stay. From our point of view, the house is perfect for 4 people. The location is quiet, by car Mönsteras is in approx. 5 minutes away. There you will find supermarkets, a gas station, a bakery, restaurants, shops and even a small cinema. We used the central location for some excursions to Öland and Kalmar or to Vimmerby.

We had two indescribably beautiful weeks at the cabin. As can be seen from the description and the pictures, the cottage has charm and is superbly equipped. And the location in the middle of nature was just great - the forest and the lake are breathtaking. Everything was cleaned and prepared in the accommodation upon our arrival. The contact with Tjark was perfect - he was very friendly, very eager to ensure a pleasant stay, and questions were answered within minutes. The place is definitely a great recommendation!

House in the countryside

We loved the house - it is big enough to room 2 families and within reasonable driving distance from Astrid Lindgren World. The house has a lot of history in itself and the family generations who lived there. The glass terrace is worth special praise as it provides hours of family time regardless of the weather. Well maintained garden and the lawn allow the kids to run around and come up with new outdoor activities. The hosts were particularly attentive to our remark that one could go mushroom hunting in the area - as where we live we are not spoiled by that - and brought us freshly picked aromatic chanterelles. We felt privileged that we could stay in the house and are very grateful for Swedish hospitality.

Beautiful surroundings in the woods, easily accessible. Close to the lake with canoe to use. Area ideal for wildlife spotting. Cottage suitable for 2 people, sauna was the icing on the cake. Host is helpful and thinks well.
