A View to a Hill

We spent 11 days at Hedvig's place and had a wonderful, restful experience. The location is very peaceful with a great view. The house is well equipped with everything one would need, including a great grill, and was quite cosy on rain days when we stayed at home. The location is secluded, so one needs a car to get to amenities in the valley below, such as restaurants and grocery stores. There are no amenities within walking distance. The road up to the house is serpentine and steep. We took our bikes, but decided it was not very practical to use them right around the house, so loaded them on our bike rack for tours of the valley. That said, we loved the hiking and biking opportunities a short drive away, and we also took some nice hikes directly from the house. There are a great many things to do in the area, from swimming in Verenje Lake to interesting museums. Borut, the co-host, lives in a neighboring house and was always very responsive and helpful if we needed something.

We had a wonderful stay at Ema’s farm in Smihel nad Mozirjem! The environment was incredibly comfortable and family-friendly, making it the perfect getaway for us. Our son was absolutely thrilled to interact with the farm animals up close, while we enjoyed the fresh produce, including eggs and milk delivered straight to our door in the morning—such a lovely touch! Ema is a fantastic host, warm and welcoming, ensuring everything was just right. If you’re planning a trip to Golte or the Savinja area and want a more authentic, family-friendly experience, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

Jól éreztük magunkat. Ha legközelebb erre járunk szeretnénk visszajönni erre a szállásra. Minden a kiírásnak megfelelő volt🙂 Kényelmes ágyak tiszta, illatos ágynemű, sok törölköző! Minden megvolt amire szükségünk volt, a kényelmes pihenés érdekében.

Een fantastische plek en loft! Woning is super knus en voorzien van alle luxe. Buiten de woning is van alles te gebruiken waaronder fietsen. De moeder van René heeft ons mega liefdevol ontvangen en gaf ons een welkom gevoel. Bij regen kwam zij zelfs paraplu’s brengen en kregen wij fruit uit eigen tuin te proeven. Ook rené is een begripvol en behulpzaam. Echte aanrader!

It was a nice staying, beautiful wooden tiny house, surrounded by nature. Absolutely peaceful, blissful silence. Tadej was really kind and easy to talk to. Nicely built and constructed tiny house, with an oven, which easily keeps the thing warm, even if it's cold outside. All in all really nice experience. Thank you Tadej.

The place is beautiful, the host already had the jacuzzi warm for us. She came to walk us through the house and explain everything. The terrace was locked, so we couldn’t go there, but we had a great time doing BBQ and spending time at jacuzzi, sauna, and relaxing.

Wonderful host and apartment: very clean,warm, newly renovated and looked even better than on pictures, the price is very reasonable. We went on a nearby hiking on Velika Planina and had the perfect evening when we came back,they even let us stay beyond check out next day. Place has everything you need. I would highly recommend this place and would like to get back with my friend on spring back there.

Wij hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf! Één opmerking, het zwembad van het nabijgelegen hotel (waar je toegang tot krijgt) was wat gedateerd en slecht onderhouden. Wel is er in Velenje wat 15 min rijden is een prachtig meer waar je fijn kan zwemmen en genoeg te doen is. De woning zelf is goed onderhouden en schoon, je krijgt er ook echt een huiselijk gevoel bij. Het contact met Ursa is ook erg prettig en ze reageert erg snel! Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

We really had the best time at Primoz’s place! The way up there was a bit tricky.. But the appartement was cosy, well equipped, and clean, it was confortable for our family ( parents and 4 kids) . Thank you Primoz for the delicious jam !! We enjoyed all the activities nearby and also the beautiful wiew !

L’alloggio di Katarina e suo marito è un posto magico. La struttura si trova su una collina immersa nel verde con una vista pazzesca, non troppo vicina alle cittadine ma se si cerca tranquillità e natura è la metà perfetta. La camera è pulitissima, molto spaziosa, moderna e suggestiva. Si ha anche la possibilità di parcheggiare in loco gratuitamente. Al mattino viene servita una buonissima e varia colazione preparata al momento da Katarina; si ha anche la possibilità di cenare, previa prenotazione, con prodotti tipici e ad un costo onestissimo. Katarina e sul marito sono stati disponibilissimi, cordiali e accoglienti. Lo consiglio assolutamente se si vuole visitare la zona alpina della Slovenia e non.

House Jaro is perfect for big groups. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic. The sauna is wonderful after along day of skiing or hiking. Mladen and his daughter are trying their best to make every guest happy!!
