Dès notre première visite, nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce lieu chargé d'histoire, entouré de nature et baigné de sérénité. Happy Valley

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

Datant du 18ième siècle, cette maison était connue de tout le village et encore aujourd'hui beaucoup d'habitants se rappellent y avoir passé un moment. A renovated old cider barn, with plenty of original character beams. A cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen are found on the ground floor. Access to the first floor is up a spiral stair case, leading to a large open bedroom and bathroom, plus a separate Sipper bath located on a small mezzanine.

The Japanese Pavilion

The Japanese Pavilion, modeled on Japanese ryokans, is an unusual eco-lodge, unprecedented in Normandy! It is made entirely of wood, on stilts, partly planted directly on our vast pond, towards which it offers a remarkable view. Zen atmosphere guaranteed!
