Vacation rentals with a kayak in Vättern

Communication with Jimmy was great. Jimmy was super nice and helpful. The lakeside location is great. From the front door out via its driveway on a little/not at all busy road down to the lake. The lake at the location is great. The short walk to the accommodation is worth its weight in gold to get things. The garden and the seating area are great. The kitchen has everything you need. The shower has power. Basically, as also described, it is a very small garden hut. In the best weather, you only use it for sleeping anyway. If you want to be at the lake a lot and the weather plays along accordingly, I would always go back to Jimmy's, even if it's not exactly cheap, but that's probably due to the location.

The house is situated right next to the river with beautiful views. Nice rooms, well equipped with a large Smart-TV, nice furniture, a large kitchen and a nice terrace. Good mix between traditional Swedish and modern.

If you are looking for the authentic 'Swedish idyll,' this is the place to be! The Torp is even more beautiful than the pictures and furnished with so much attention to detail. Tomaz and his family welcomed us warmly, provided us with plenty of information about the region and always had an open ear. We had a great week and felt very comfortable! A highlight was the joint BBQ by the campfire incl. baking bread and collecting wood with the kids. We recommend the place without reservation and will be happy to come back any time!

Like the previous times, it was again a very nice stay with Erik. If we are nearby again, we will be happy to come back.

The apartment is very spacious and cozy and offers plenty of space, also as far as the outdoor area is concerned. Lake (Sommen) access is very close within walking distance. At the private dock you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended.

We are super happy, we were a group of girls of 8 girls who had a great time! Nothing to complain about the top service from Anna-Karin! Always quick replies when you had questions.

We were allowed to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden at Johann's and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was large enough for that. Johan decorated the house for Christmas especially for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. You could feel right at home. He was always available for questions and small problems and when the coffee maker was defective, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether it's exploring small villages in the area or hiking in national parks.

Unique location by a beautiful lake, modern really nice cabin that had everything you could want and then some. Clear and easy instructions on everything you need. We are more than happy to return here. Maria as a host responds quickly, is very nice and helpful. Recommenders highly!

We shone older generation with children and children for a small mini break. We ate well around Karin's large generous table, both inside and out. We appreciated the many outdoor spots. There was always a place in shelter! We all felt welcome, even the dog. Walked during the days. In the evenings we put an intricate puzzle that was in the cabin. We'd love to come back!

Patricks summerhouse was so comfortable, cozy and cute, we loved it… Large private garden, close to beautiful little freshwater bathbeach, we got nice and warm weather, took the canou for a sail on the water, drove all around the nearby country... We love Sweden and there is nowhere better to be than in it's countryside :) Thank you Patrik and family for trustkng us with your lovely place

The description “dream house” was extremely accurate! If you are looking for a perfect time at a quiet lake this is the place to go. We will definitely come back

We stayed with our dogs over Christmas and New Year's Eve in the cottage of Conny & Carina. The house is beautifully located on the edge of the forest and is very tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Conny & Carina are wonderful hosts who always made sure that we had everything we needed and that we felt comfortable. Conny even made it possible for us to load our car, although we could not drive into his garage due to the roof box. We felt welcome and at home from the first minute to the last minute and would recommend the cottage 100%. It was a wonderful, quiet vacation. A thousand thanks to Conny and Carina!! We will be happy to come back. 😀

The house is beautifully situated on a hillside away from the hustle and bustle and secluded from the nearest major town. The house is great and beautifully furnished and has everything you need. It has a huge garden and lots of toys for children. Our girls were never bored! It's a short walk down to the lake and up to the cape. Beautiful place! We enjoyed staying there very much, and with a little driving time you can make nice excursions in the area, but actually it invites you to chill and bathe there in the idyll! Highly recommended, we didn't want to leave.

We had such a nice stay in this cabin and in these beautiful, peaceful surroundings - and we actually regret not booking an extra night😊🌳 everything was clean and neat, the beds were comfortable, and it was so nice with the fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Thanks to Silke and Thomas for making us feel welcome and at home!

Fabien's little cabin is very nice for a few days, it sits at the back of its garden. The house has a lot of windows, which makes it bright, but it does not have shutters which is disturbing in the morning and can be in the bathroom. The wi-fi is working properly, and the video projector is very nice. Be careful, the showers are very very fast with hot water in a very small amount. Thanks

We were a group of friends, both children and adults, celebrating a lovely Midsummer weekend in Agneta's cabin. The cottage is simple but here is everything you need. We had nice weather and mainly stayed outdoors on the property, which had seating in several directions and a private beach! The reality is better than the pictures - lovely views of the big lake, beach right next to the plot and nice surroundings in a quiet location. Felt very idyllic and midsummer compliant. Would love to come back!

Anne is a lovely and welcoming host. She was already waiting for us at the street to guide us to her house. Also the house itself is a lovely. It is clean and located in a calm location. The entire stay exceed our expectations.

If you want to spend relaxed holidays in a VERY cosy house in the most beautiful surroundings with an incredibly nice host - go ahead and book Karolina's place! A great plus are the boat, Kayak and SUP. The interior of the house: Many well thought-out and practical details, typical Scandinavian purety combined with a lot of ameneties - having a house quite far out with a proper shower and toilet plus a dishwasher was a very welcome luxury. We felt very welcome and would be glad to return. P.s.: We were extremely lucky not only to see many perseids but also to witness Lady Aurora dancing - 3 hours of incredible Northern lights right in the middle of August. Pure magic that could be enjoyed sitting right infront of the house by the lake.

We had a great time at the cottage on the lake. The location is really great! Right on the lake, the kids were in the water uninterrupted. You can entertain a lot of great things from there. Vimmerby and surroundings are just around the corner. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back.

Great cozy cottage surrounded by trees and close to the lake. Lovely calm and quiet. Great outdoor shower! Very accommodating and great hosts. Everything is very thoughtful and well matched the description and I had 2 peaceful days here. Would love to come again.
