The staff residence at Storön Gården

On Storön, you can experience tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. Storön is a car-free island with no land connection. Here you will find Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there are nice ice rinks for long-distance skating. The staff residence is located on a farm and every day there is the opportunity to come along and feed the animals.

This property can accommodate up to eight people in five bedrooms for a relaxing vacation right at the northern entrance to Omberg Ecopark, a short walk from Vättern Lake and the port of Borghamn, and a short drive from the Tåkern bird sanctuary. The house is situated in a garden measuring approximately 2,000 square meters (21,500 square feet) and is an ideal base for hiking and cycling trips, for swimming excursions, and for exploring the history-rich Östergötland region.
