Guest house 35 m2, close to E18. Simple accommodation with two rooms and a kitchen. Two beds in one room and a bunk bed in the other. Small sofa bed in the kitchen. Toilet and shower. Close to residential buildings. Rented per night or weekly. The closest grocery store is in Skattkärr, Karlstad or Kristinehamn. Basic goods are available at the gas station, OKQ8, in Väse. They are open until 11 pm on weekdays and until 10 pm on weekends. They also have a restaurant. Inside Väse, you will find Räven Bistro, pizzeria and restaurant.

You will also find Hammarö Archipelago Museum on the outskirts of the headland, which offers a unique collection of objects from the old Vänern fishing and an exhibition about life on the lighthouses in Lake Vänern.

Home from Home in Karlstad 3 bedrooms.

3 bedrooms available in a sunny family home nestled in a small suburb only a 5-minute drive from Karlstad centre. There are buses to town centre readily available. It is also an easy 25-minute walk or a 10-minute cycle along the banks of the river Klarälven. The house is set in a quiet neighborhood close to the river. You will not share the house with other guests but I stay in the basement during your stay. I have a nice outside cat and a friendly dog who also stays with me in the basement.

House by the lake / House by Lake Vänern

House 40 meters from lake Vänern. Completely renovated during 2018. A small boat can be used by the guest. (not during november-april due to ice) Equipped with all modern things like AC, fiber internet, etc. There is one double bed in the main bedroom. In the guest room there is 2 beds. An inflatable bed could be used if you need more beds. There is also a small guest house with a room. You can relax, take a swim or walk in the forest. It’s as relaxing during summer as during winter.

We offer newly renovated and nice accommodation in our farmhouse. 10 minutes from Karlstad and 25 minutes from Kristinehamn. Close by/ exit to E-18 and the county traffic bus connection within walking distance. Pet and beautiful nature are in the corner. There is access to swimming and fishing in both Vänern and Gapern. For the golf enthusiast there are several golf courses in close quarters. In Väse a few miles away, there is the Wild Park where you can both skateboard and BMX.

With socializing in front of the fireplace or on the terrace in the evening sun, the holiday gets a lovely golden edge. It is a perfect starting point for those who like to be out in nature or want to visit Karlstad. We have many great tips to share for those who wish. In the nearby lake Gapern, we have a sauna raft that can be rented at the same time upon request.

The apartment is located in Lorensberg, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with walking distance to both the city centre and campus, and is perfect for the busy tourist as well as a new student at the booming Karlstad University. The house used to be home to multiple families, and so the apartment comes fully equiped with a kitchen as well as a private bathroom and is closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance. No smoking.
