BREATHTAKING VILA SENANG MASARI,

JonasRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had an amazing stay. As soon as we got there (finding it was no big problem for the local cab drivers) we were amazed by the amount of love & attention that went into decorating and furnishing the place. From medicine to cooking equipment & the bbq, everything was in abundance and made to feel like home. Courtesy of this welcoming feeling is no doubt the lovely housemaid Eva, who looked after us with amazing care. As a group of students (ages 20-24) we enjoyed the privacy of the house and its perfect blend of comfort (amazing beds, helping hands of Eva etc.) and more adventurous aspects (bumpy ride getting there, rare power-outages in the night etc.). All of us agree that this house was the core to our amazing time on Vanuatu. We would highly recommend to get a car (4x4 pickup was our choice & we did not regret it), as mobility is key on Efate. Also, if at all interested, get an ATV. Fuel is cheap & the fun priceless. Thanks to Christiana and Eva for this unforgettable time.

Balinese Holiday House Port Vila

BryanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A quiet private hide away with plenty of room, all the facilities you would expect (remembering you are in The Pacific) with amazing views and a great infinity pool. As a lot of the other reviews mention, the roads in the area are quite rough (but to be fair, so are most of the roads in Vanuatu!) and the property is not really in walking distance to any facilities (like restuarants and groceries) so a vehicle is really a must, and I would suggest a 4WD. In saying that, it is only 10 - 15 minutes depending on traffic to central Port Vila and the local Au Bon Marche supermarket is only 5 minutes drive. We had no major issues but when we needed to contact Nathan he was really responsive. I guess the litmus test is "would we rent this property again?" The answer is a resounding YES!
A serene outdoor space features a private pool bordered by tropical greenery. Two red sun loungers are positioned under a large umbrella, offering a relaxing spot to enjoy the view of the clear water and surrounding nature under a bright blue sky.

Satoshi Island One-Bedroom

ClareRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Our stay on Lataro/Satoshi island felt like a fairytale. Denys and Marcella were fantastic hosts, always helpful and friendly. The scenery is some of the most stunning we have ever seen, and we are well travelled. The beaches, reef and fish were untouched and easily accessible for snorkelling from the beach. We even saw turtles! The local cows, horses, cats and dogs were friendly and fun to be around. The vila is comfortable and has everything you would need for a longer term stay. We were worried initially about the lack of air conditioning but even in the height of summer the temperature was fine. The big fan in the bedroom meant we were comfortable at night (even chilly at times). We recommend planning your meals in advance and being prepared for your supermarket trip in Luganville when you arrive, as you will not be able to duck off the island easily to buy more food. We would absolutely come back here and recommend everyone come and experience this beautiful slice of paradise.

Large House & Garden - Central

FlorenceRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Nicole's house was perfect for our stay. I was travelling with my students and we had a lot of activities scheduled in the city so location was perfect. Super easy to jump on a bus if we needed to go anywhere too. The four bedrooms were large enough with beds for everyone. We were a group of 8. The lounge room and kitchen space are both very big and everything was very clean. The garden is beautifully maintained. There is a bit noise at night (mainly Friday and Saturday night) but that's to be expected if you stay in town. The house is very well secured and we felt absolutely safe. Nicole was outstanding in terms of communication and Caroline was wonderful too. I could not have picked a better place for our study tour. Thank you so much for everything we will will most definitely return in the near future. Highly recommended for large groups.

Janessa's Dwellery

I stayed only a night, but it was very comfortable to stay relax. The owner served dinner and breakfast. That was very helpful because my schedule was tight and I was tired. The location was also nice. You can walk from the airport. I truly recommend the home. Thank you very much.
A grassy campsite is surrounded by lush trees, providing shade. Two tents in differing colors are pitched nearby, with a light-colored vehicle parked alongside. The scene conveys a relaxed outdoor setting ideal for camping.

8+ Camp Sites

MeganRating, 5 stars80 months ago
We loved our two weeks at Lonnoc Beach bungalows with Kalmer and his family. We had a spot right on the beach front to camp. There is wifi included in the price and use of kayaks for free :) we had clean showers and a toilet and the restaurant was available if we needed it. If you fly into Santo get to Luganville town and jump in a public minibus, they usually leave after 2.30pm and will cost you only 500vt each. Then during your stay you can hitch hike to and from town or along the east coast for 500 per person. The luganville market have great fruit and veg for cheap too - mango’s and pomello’s for 15p!! During our stay we felt part of the community, making friends with Kalmers big family, going to church, eating with them and sharing stories. We definitely recommend camping here (if you have your own tent) and you’re on a budget but want to travel to Vanuatu.
A serene one-story villa is positioned on lush green grass, featuring a traditional thatched roof. Tables and chairs are arranged on a patio, overlooking the calm waters of the bay. The surrounding landscape includes vibrant foliage and distant hills, enhancing the tranquil environment.

The Farea @ Watermark on Moso

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A totally magical place! Our stay was Farea @ Watermark was absolutely wonderful. The location is breathtaking, the welcome fantastic and the property stunning. We snorkelled from the property straight onto the reef before breakfast, watched the stars from the loungers at night, had an amazing turtle spotting and snorkelling boat tour with Noland (one of Colin's team) and enjoyed a wonderful local meal prepared by Fanni, Noland’s wife. We could have stayed for weeks! Please don't tell anyone - let's keep it a secret!
Lush greenery frames a sweeping view of crystal-clear waters and a distant island. Tall palm trees sway gently in the breeze, with a thatched-roof hut visible along the sandy beach, creating a serene and inviting coastal landscape.

Bungalow by the Sea

Our stay at Daniel's place was amazing!! The beachview from the place was beautiful. You can pre book your airport pickup and drop off and local tours with Daniel. It was nice to hear stories about the island and the local traditions and customs from him. Our personal favorite was the daily breakfast that Daniel delivers which consists of locally grown fresh avocados, papaya and banana. You also get free kayaks that you can use to kayak to Champagne Beach (we didn't go too far since we weren't confident swimmers and didn't want to go into deep waters) The restaurant close by is really good and has a few vegetarian options too. Overall, our stay with Daniel was great and we will definitely be back soon!!

Pangona Boho chic by the beach

AlastairRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a fantastic time at Loic's place. As described it is about 45min drive from Vila so having your own transport is highly recommended. A representative form the management company met us at the airport and we followed them the property as it was after dark. This was really helpful as otherwise we might have struggled to find the entrance (its easy in daylight). Devils Point Road is unpaved but didn't really need a 4WD (we were there at the end of the dry season). The property is pleasant and set in a fantastic location with world class snorkelling from the private beach. Sam and his family, who live next door, look after the property and kept us supplied with Paw-paw and coconuts! Mele Beach is about 20 mins drive away and the Friday night Fire Show is highly recommended. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in stunning surrounds.

Aore Hibiscus Retreat by the Water

Had a great time at Russell & Tricia’s place! Perfect getaway. Both were very accomodating and allowed us to bring our bikes over in their boat. Had many great bike rides around the island. The area was beautiful and private. Ocean right at your doorstep and a huge private yard to play sports. The place came filled with lots of entertainment - books, pool noodles, kayaks, puppies!
