Vacation home rentals in Valais

We spent Christmas as a family (7 people) in this wonderful chalet in Zweisimmen and could not be happier. The place was exactly as described – cozy, clean and perfectly equipped. The view of the snow-capped mountains was breathtaking, and the location was ideal for our winter activities. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided us with all the necessary information and were always available when we had questions. Communication was quick and easy. We felt at home and would recommend this place at any time. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Juanita is an amazing host. We felt right at home. Fresh bread ordered in a morning to sessions in the infrared sauna in an evening. Also included in our stay-a free local bus pass and cable car pass. The areas is beautiful and a trip to Saas-fee is also recommended. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the stay too. Thank you Juanita for a most enjoyable vacation.

The location is great, with a bus stop (free bus) just outside the building. Take the bus to the lake at the end of the valley, to the mountain village of Saas-Fee or Stalden. Hike the Kapellenweg from the house or walk to the great Waldhüs Bodmen restaurant, situated in the forest above the house. Views on the mountains. The appartment is large, clean, and super quiet. The bedroom curtains made it nice and dark. Communication with Juanita was a pleasure, she gave us tips for the area, and is very welcoming and friendly. The Saastal is beautiful, also in fall!

Loved our stay here. We felt at home, comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The property manager Sami and her husband were so kind and communicative. They reached out to us throughout our travel day to ensure we arrived smoothly, helped us with transfers and gave loads of tips for the local area. They went above and beyond to make sure we were having a lovely time. The house itself was also great with everything you could need for a self catered trip. It was clean, cosy and has beautiful views from every window. We skiied from champery each day, taking the train to and from the lifts in under 15 mins. Such a lovely trip.

A cosy little apartment with great views, well connected and within short distance from Grindelwald Terminal and Grindelwald Grund and with good train/bus connections to Grindelwald and Interlaken. A nearby good restaurant is a plus when coming home tired. What stands out is the attention for detail, such as locks for bicycles and many other little things. Price is a bit on the high side but reasonable for location and place.

Francine is a thoughtful and communicative host. She welcomed us upon our arrival, provided detailed instructions, and gave helpful recommendations for the local area. The apartment was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The roads and parking behind the apartment were narrow and somewhat challenging to navigate. Thank you, Francine!

Wow! What an incredible apartment! My family and I stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute. Judith was very responsive, helpful and checked in on us throughout our stay. We fell in love with the terrace, modern amenities, lovely ambient lighting, cozy beds and beautiful decor. We shopped at the local coup for breakfast foods, snacks and toiletries. We ate fabulous restaurants, skied, hiked and enjoyed cocktails throughout our stay! We highly recommend Judith’s place! It’s a special place!

Great apartment and very well located. You can walk to the village as well as to the ski lift. Very well furnished apartment, everything clean and tidy. Quiet location and ideal for relaxing. On the first two evenings we heated with the fireplace to increase the temperature a little, but worked out great and was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In summary, we are completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful winter holiday in Tammy's place. We felt right at home when we entered and the apartment offered us everything we needed. The kitchen is modern an equipped with all you need. There is a Raclette and Fondue set so you can prepare your own Swiss meal at home ;-) The view from the balcony is marvelous and the place is walking distance to ski lifts and other local amenities. There is an underground parking which is very handy. Luckily there was not much snow so we had no issues getting up the steep climb from the house with our car. If there is a lot of snow it will requires chains, however Tammy did warn us in advance :-) My favorite spot was at one of the windows where there is a comfy chair to sit with a nice drink and look out in to the mountain scenery. We would love to come back next year.

A lovely family home very close to all Abelboden’s amenities. Midi’s place has everything you will need for a very comfortable stay, the kitchen is very well equipped and is part of a very spacious living area. All the beds were very comfortable and my three year old grandson was very happy in his bottom bunk bed. There are lots of good ski runs, and two distinct ski areas, a smaller one can be accessed at the bottom of the road from Midi’s place and the larger area a short walk through the village. We would certainly considering returning and staying again.

The cozy apartment is in the traditional Wallis chalet, with nicely renovated interior. It is located in a village that is 5 min drive from the Bettmeralp gondola. Theresa was very responsive and provided us with clear instructions. We also met her husband in person and he kindly told us about the history of the chalet. It is great for the vacation in the Aletsch Arena.

We were completely satisfied with the location, accommodation and communication.

Great place in the heart of Zermatt. It’s close to the cash only Crepe place that always has a line. Bring Swiss Francs to pay the tourist tax though. Well stocked kitchen.

We had a great week in picturesque Champex! A dip in the lake? Right across the street. Canoeing/pedaling or stand-up paddling? Within a 5-minute walk. In-house sauna and pool? On the same floor as the apartment. Reading on the deck chair? The spacious balcony, which is sunny in the afternoon and evening, is perfect for this. We ate well in authentic and uncomplicated restaurants (many hikers) and met many very friendly people. In a local supermarket, you can find everyday necessities.

We were on the Riederalp for the first time and totally thrilled. Patricia's apartment is perfectly located: right at the ski lift and on the ski slope. Wonderful with children, as they don't have to go far with skis. The apartment is fully equipped and we had everything we needed. We felt incredibly comfortable and would come back any time. Cozy and Convenient Stay "I recently stayed in Stelle’s apartment in Furi, and it was a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located within a minute to cable car . The host Beatrice was very responsive and she picked us in cable car Furi station. The apartment itself was well-furnished and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and I felt at home throughout my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. The house is super clean and well equipped! Plenty of space and it has everything you need including capsule coffee, cooking oil and many seasoning powder! Totally recommend!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Michael’s. Michael was super responsive and so kind with helping us organise a free bus pass to use. The accommodation is beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. We walked down to the lake and swam. It was a 10-15 min bus ride into Interlaken and sooo easy to get to and from, we loved the buses! Michael and his partner were so kind on check in and gave us great recommendations. The bed was really comfortable and loved there being 2 duvets! The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was so cosy in the evenings. Great place to stay, highly recommend!!! Thank you ☺️
