House vacation rentals in Vaal Dam

What a great find! Margie was an excellent host! Very good with communication and extremely accommodating. The property is very well maintained and the house was very homely with 2 great entertainment areas, a swimming pool for the summer, and as an alternate, multiple fireplaces for a snug winter getaway accompanied with an oxtail potjie and glühwein. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances / utensils you'll need, bathrooms modern with clean extra floor towers for water run off , luxury soaps and shower jells, and bedrooms were well laid out. There's a pool table, dart board and several board games to keep everyone entertained. Attention to detail included, a welcome bottle of wine, informative booklet, chocolates on the beds, packs of tissues for all the occupants, and chalk for the pool queues. There is a short drive to the marina where club access is included, with picnicking spots and watercraft launching facilities available. Highly recommended!!!

We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful spot on the Vaal River! The place was not only comfortable and clean, but Linda and Andre were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. We caught so much fish, and they showed us the best spots to enjoy it all. The swims were perfect, the braais were fantastic, and everything about the stay was just ideal. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city—highly recommend!

WHAT A SPOT! My family and I had an absolute blast of a reunion here, with awesome weather the first day we lazed in the sun around the pools, cooked pizza in the pizza oven and played some volleyball, with the second day we entertained ourselves with pool and table tennis and had a massive braai on the gas and some charcoal in the Webers. Theresa helped us clean and kept us entertained and stocked with anything we needed! The beds were AMAZING and most of the rooms had a beautiful view of the dam. We would definitely be back, only word of warning is the low cellphone signal and the roads are very difficult to navigate in cars that are not 4X4 especially in periods of lots of rain.

We had an excellent stay! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Everything went smoothly, and the host was truly amazing and attentive. Fran and Rick are extremely accommodating superhosts and we will definitely recommend them and their place without any reservations. Frans is our go to home away from home. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GETAWAY FROM THE CITY, THIS IS IT!! Absolutely loved the host first and foremost, so professional in all areas. The location was easy to find, the instructions given are spot on! The rooms were clean and I absolutely loved how each room has its own theme, so inviting, so modern, definitely a 10 out of 10. I loved how every need is catered for, although it’s out of the city we kept busy ( you can’t be board here) , lots of in door and outdoor activities from books, board games, a pool table, braai area, swimming pool, Child friendly facilities provided which makes it perfect for families. NOT EVEN LOAD SHEDDING could stop us from having fun as all load shedding essentials are provided. THANK YOU PEPER TREE, I’ll be back!!!!

A quiet weekend with great small town restaurants. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We lost power in the storm and the service was so efficient, we were back up in 2 hours. The house was perfect for our family of 8.

Wonderful venue with a perfect on site hosted, Jane. The place was perfect for a boys weekend away, and the cold front did not cause a problem. The house is comfortable with all facilities to make your stay perfect.
