Family-friendly vacation rentals in Uusimaa

The condo was lovely. We truly loved our stay. It was a perfect home away from home for my family and two young kids (a 3 year old and 0 year old). The location was great. Everything was beautiful. It was sparkly clean. The owner was hospitable and timely responded to all inquiries. The condo was conveniently located just 80 minutes from Helsinki and was near the sea, restaurants, bars, and the beach. The listing indicated it had 4 bedrooms. Only three bedrooms were accessible to us, which was perfectly fine as there was plenty of room and we loved our stay. A handicap friendly elevator was offered, if needed (which we utilized for toting the heavy bags with lots of kids' stuff up to the third floor). The house had two full bathrooms and was equipped with a bubble bath and a sauna. Everything about the apartment was charming, immaculate, cozy, stylish, and just perfect. At the time we made the reservation, we inquired about our need for a crib or pack n play for our baby. The owner promptly responded that a pack n play would be provided. Not only was there a pack n play set up when we arrived, there was also a high chair set up at the dining room table. We appreciated the thoughtful and sweet gesture. Having the special items at the condo made traveling with a baby comfortable and easy. The owner was extremely friendly and courteous. Once we checked in, the owner reached out to us to make sure everything was great and assured us we could contact him with any questions/concerns during our stay. The three accessible bedrooms were on the third floor. Two bedrooms were large and had balconies. The third bedroom was smaller and had two skylights. There was a fabulous bathroom on the third floor complete with a shower and a sauna. The second floor had a full and beautiful kitchen with all the amenities we could need for cooking in the condo, a comfy and stylish living area, a long dining room table, a beautiful bathroom with a tub and shower, and a balcony with seaside views. The bottom floor had our entrance, a foyer, and the stairwell.

Modern style home in a beautiful and peaceful location. Great design elements including furniture and floor to ceiling windows. We loved relaxing with the tranquil views and enjoyed time on the lovely covered deck area. It was wonderful to eat outside even when occasionally drizzling and not worry about getting wet. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We were able to buy all of the food we needed at the tiny market a couple of blocks from the home.

We had an absolutely terrific stay. Beautiful location, and the place was split very nicely into different areas. Great to visit as a family or with friends. The highlight was definitely the wood sauna with a view to the sea, and being able to jump in the water after the sauna!

Lovely pittoresque villa! We spent Midsummer with a larger group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Our dog was also welcome and was allowed to be free in the yard. Atmospheric and unique decor! The area is beautiful and peaceful, a good beach is right next door and the village shop is a stone's throw away. Tiina was a wonderful hostess, flexible and made us feel really welcome. A great place to visit Teijo!

I highly recommend this place! We stayed with 4 Adults and one baby, we spent time there like a real home. They offered not only a cod, but also high chair and lots of toys, which my son really enjoyed. Anastasia is very nice person. She welcomed us warmly, and she always responded our message very quickly when we had a question. She made our first vacation in Helsinki unforgettable :)

We found this house perfect for a "workation", as we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the garden, as well as the living room for working from our laptops. There's an amazing amount of natural light, the house has warm colors, and nice plants. We recommend trying the boat, it's very fun.

I enjoyed my 6 night stay here and loved the location of the apartment. It was mostly organized and clean, but the apartment definitely feels lived in. The printed house manual is very outdated and it didn't seem to have many extra towels, linens, etc. In reading the listing description, I had also expected a different kind of communication. I booked the apartment 4 months in advance and never heard from the hosts - just their co-host that was super responsive. I also couldn't find the dryer so I didn't end up doing laundry. Overall, I would recommend.

Very interesting old wooden house close to a beautiful sea, a nice cafe and the very loud railway. Close to the center. Magda was very nice!

Iiris and Josh’s place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip. We were traveling with a young toddler, and our hosts provided essentials as well as some thoughtful toys for her. We enjoyed walking around the city during our stay, but it is also fast and easy to get around using the tram stops nearby. Iiris and Josh were very responsive to messages in the app, and everything we needed to know was covered in the detailed house manual.

We spent the weekend with friends at Folkets hus and the place was absolutely amazing. Better than the pictures. The house is really beautiful and beautifully decorated. Everything worked well and we had no problems. The house is well equipped and all the necessary kitchen utensils, for example, were found. We recommend it in the heat!

Everything is as promised in the listing. I have stayed at several other properties in the area in more recently built apartments; compared with them, I found the ambience of this building from the 1800s worth experiencing (since it is renovated to include all modern conveniences). It also stayed a bit cooler in the summer heat and was more spacious.

Perfect sized villa for two and the pool + wood heated sauna aced the whole thing. Absolutely worth a stay!

Apartment is very individually furnished. Nice contact with Antti, who also picked us up from the ferry. The area in which the apartment is located is very accessible by tram from the center.

Great house for families with wonderful pool and sauna. Safe and beautiful environment with playground and beach nearby. Shops also accessible. Great vibe sitting outside on the patio in the evenings. Could easily stay another week here!

In a wonderfully peaceful place! The wood sauna had good steam. Everything you need was found in the cottage! Very flexible check-in. Responding to messages quickly and the info message was really comprehensive.

If you want a traditional cabin in the woods with mod cons then this is the place for you. The cabin is ideally located to explore all of Southern Finland, and when you're done for the day the supermarket is either on your way back or a 5 minute detour. The location is quiet and peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so were able to sit out most evenings with a glass of wine and enjoy the serenity. The cabin has everything you need, and the bathrooms have been well thought through. Matti offers use of the Hot Tub, and Boat for a small fee, and the first pack of logs fort the sauna or wood stove are included. The lake is literally 50m from the door, but you are far enough away that the Mosquitoes aren't a problem. Although we don't have children the extra touches for children are great.

Great surroundings and a peaceful cottage. Rarely atmospheric hut :)
